  1. Agree. And this isn't the result of political corruption, it's the result of an electorate that just keeps on voting for the same corrupt people over and over again until they are literally imprisoned.
  2. ^ Huh, a crown? Is there an object that's further removed from American history and culture?
  3. I'm not making this about politics, just letting my friend know it's possible his waitress was sick.
  4. My very out of the loop friend from Columbus apparently just went there yesterday for lunch. I guess I'll let him know.
  5. The reliance on a movie theater filling up space always struck me as wishful thinking.

Any chance there's connection to the Lake Erie windmill project being unexpectedly shut down? Because considering the connections and influence of old school energy crowd, it sure as hell seems like it's all connected.
  7. I could be wrong but I thought "panthers" were indigenous to the Southeast U.S.A.? Anyhow one problem with sports names is that it's pretty late in the game so to speak, so many good ones are already taken lol. "I am a Heat." - Hot Rod Williams after signing with Miami.
  8. There's no steel mills in Pittsburgh either. It's actually an interesting point that sports names really are kind of all over the board. Utah Jazz? That's a name that absolutely sounds better for New Orleans.
  9. Indians fans exist in all colors.
  10. Lake Erie
  11. One who drives a Suburu? Hey man Indians gets my vote, which is worth exactly nothing I guess.
  12. They could have made it a more public-interactive space to promote animal welfare and generate revenues, like a cat cafe or something. But absolutely a missed opportunity.
  13. Cleveland Guardians sounds like an Arena Football team to me. How about the Cleveland Outfielders....since we have 18 of them.
  14. ^ Indeed those spots of Philly and D.C. were truly eye-opening experiences as a kid in the late 70's/early 80's. If I were only going by the above map I'd say Cudell looks like a good bet for investment. Of course we know maps and colors don't necessarily paint a complete picture of reality. Also it's going to be interesting to see how much will change along Detroit Ave between Lakewood and Gordon Square in the next few years. Some of that stretch has a real "no man's land" vibe going on.
  15. ^ surprised that "Forresters" is not on the list.
  16. One thing I've always found fascinating with Cleveland is there's not a single perceived "good" neighborhood that doesn't border a perceived "bad" one. The perception of being unsafe costs the city a lot of investors, I am sure of it.
  17. Ridiculous. The architecture in Cincinnati is/was so awesome.

One of the best stories ever.
  19. If this isn't courtyard structure isn't location scouted for a future James Bond-esque chase scene I'm going to be sorely disappointed!!!
  20. From what we've seen on Public Square, the precedent shows those jersey barriers could very well be permanent!
  21. warning: some language NSFW Black NFL Player's Silence Over DeSean Jackson's Anti-Semitic Post is DEAFENING.
  22. I think some healthy questions for discussion are: -What things can the City realistically do? -Is the City doing, or capable of doing those things competently?
  23. ^ That Stearn signage is really cool. Perhaps someday that sort of thing will come back into fashion.

Hahaha Lawrence Fishburn! I finally have all the missing pieces that can finally point us to the real killer...I'd better run all these sensitive case files by Hannibal before I file my report. I should also make sure he knows everything I'm going to do, ever. He's so amazing and seems to know everything about every single murder.
  25. Right. Where millenials want to live is quite often not where they end up living.
