  1. I have a trip to CLE scheduled in four weeks. At this point I'll be kind of surprised if my flight isn't cancelled. Who knows what the situation will be like by then.
  2. Where is Ragerunner?

Most recent story is that OBJ has already bought into the new regime. But who really knows. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2881314-odell-beckham-jr-trade-rumors-browns-not-looking-to-move-on-from-wr and Note the very devious, click-inducing headline lol. Browns Interest in Trading Odell Beckham Revealed by Insider https://heavy.com/sports/2020/03/browns-not-interested-trade-odell-beckham/ Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reported that the Browns have no interest in dealing Beckham, who had a tumultuous first season in Cleveland but has built a strong relationship with the new Browns regime, which includes general manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski. “On Browns and Odell Beckham Jr.: He’s not going to be a fire sale trade,” Robison reported. ‘I’ve been told things have been very positive for both him and the team since the regime change went down. Cleveland is not looking to move on from what it sees as a sizable (healthy) asset moving forward.”

The "coaching" staff last year....ouch. Was just wondering earlier today what a Bruce Arians-led Browns team would've done last season. I'm a big fan of historical fiction! And don't forget the Chubb-Hunt backfield,....the best in the league.
  5. WFMU is such a great great station. Glad to hear that more is going on over on the Jersey side!
  6. It's getting interesting out there! Rivers to Colts, Bridgewater possibly to Panthers. Cam Newton out of a job. Who is the Pats QB in 2020? I think Brady should land in Tampa. If he wants to end his career in concussion protocol he could go to the Chargers.
  7. My friends actually made that documentary to help raise money. Hoping they fixed that plaster haha.
  8. ^ Truth! That was the tackiest statement ever and made me worried we were getting a slightly more upscale version of Joes Crab Shack.
  9. Why did the city block the Dock 30 warehouse renovation proposal? I have no memory of this happening. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wkyc.com/amp/article/life/waterfront-revival-heres-an-exclusive-first-look-at-new-development-plans-for-clevelands-north-coast-harbor/95-119154fd-66f7-4e4a-b7e7-4d03516b3878
  10. I miss the Ampitheater and the good vibe down there. Actually this area is pretty special and really lends itself toward recreational amenities and smaller scale attractions. Like, the boardwalk should definitely come through here as there's significant space for residual development. Some of the historic buildings along Canal look like they're still in good shape too. Something the size of Browns stadium may technically be able to squeeze in, but it would absolutely overwhelm this area. Anyhow it would certainly be interesting to see site plans.
  11. Anyone can still listen to the interview [rewind function] here: https://www.radio.com/923thefan/listen
  12. Somewhere on here is the zoning overlay that prevents, or at least discourages that from being the case.
  13. Been a while, but we used to go here: https://www.parkersdowntown.com/ HAPPY HOUR 3 - 6 p.m. $3 Draft Beers $5 Glass of Wine $6 Cocktails ½ off Bar Food Menu
  14. Impressive bio. Does anyone here personally know him? https://www.justinbibb.com/bio
  15. It's a great place to park if you want to be trapped for several hours after an event. Anyhow, here's hoping we can see the neighborhood continue to become more of a neighborhood and less of a parking district.
  16. Well I am shocked they spelled everything correctly. Baby steps.
  17. Just heard 92.3 The Fan that Thomas Chema will be on Baskin & Phelps to discuss potential future development in Gateway this Wed 12pm EST. Sounds like it could be interesting. Thomas V. Chema In 1990, he was appointed Executive Director of the Gateway Economic Development Corporation and was responsible for overseeing the public-private partnership that led to the financing and construction of Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. He then resumed his law practice and in recent years has consulted across the country on sports and entertainment-related economic development projects as President of Gateway Consultants Group, Inc

  21. Photos of an Abandoned & Decaying Ohio Mall, Once the World’s Largest posted by Jason Kottke Mar 04, 2020 When it opened in 1977, Randall Park Mall in Ohio was (briefly) the largest shopping mall in the world. But the place was never a huge success and was finally closed in 2009 in the wake of the financial crisis. For six years it lay abandoned and during that time, photographer Michael Christopher captured the decaying building inside and out for his book, Abandoned America. https://kottke.org/20/03/photos-of-an-abandoned-decaying-ohio-mall
