What are you watching?
Black Mirror is very hit-or-miss. I think I fell asleep during every episode in the last season. p.s. After Breaking Bad don't you wanna lighten things up a little!!!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Right. This specific topic is deja vu, all over again haha.

Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
It could turn into a river version of Dyke 14, undeveloped and useful for birds & wildlife with walking paths, etc. https://clevelandhistorical.org/items/show/433 But heck, here's hoping this soil issue can be settled quickly and safely on the local level.

The river is publicly accessible. If they're worried about people being close to their perimeter then they shouldn't locate alongside it.

Red Line Greenway trail shows great promise, despite ugly duckling start By Steven Litt, The Plain Dealer The greenway, which is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2021, will extend from the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Lake Link Trail on the west bank of the Cuyahoga River at Franklin Boulevard to the Michael Zone Recreation Center Park at West 53rd Street. It will benefit more than 50,000 residents in poor and middle-class neighborhoods scarred by railroad lines and Interstate 90. And it will join an off-road network centered on the Towpath Trail in the Cuyahoga Valley, with links to the region’s best parks and natural amenities. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2020/01/red-line-greenway-should-be-excellent-despite-ugly-duckling-start-steven-litt.html

^ Man that is one terrible logo.

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Holy cow this thing looks like jail. I hate architecture that looks as if it's saying "KEEP OUT" and that's the strong impression you have with the walls and lack of ground floor windows and/or access.

This is ridiculous. Why does Akron piss me off so much?

From what I understand the cemetery has been a target for vandals. Maybe it benefits from more stakeholders & eyes on the street?

Agree. Fingers crossed for the best, those lousy surface lots have got to go. p.s. I've always loved that brick street

Love this. My gf grew up in Sarasota and went to Ringling. They did a really nice job with the school.

Coming along! Okay I'm not going so far as to say that I want that yellow, but I really do wish we could get more colorful buildings in CLE.

Favorite Music At The Moment?
I'm probably guilty of turning headphone volume up too high, but my Grado headphones just sound so damn good. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1062294-REG/grado_sr80e_sr_80e_headphone_black.html I have been trying to avoid loud live shows for years. I actually think a lot of the sound guys in Ohio are deaf, so they aren't truly aware of how terrible they are.

Favorite Music At The Moment?
So there's this YouTube channel of "enhanced" songs that I found today. It's great if say you've played in a band 30 years and your hearing isn't what it used to be lol. Not all tracks are perfect, I think I heard a distinctive midi cymbal crash added on a 1962 Beach Boys song, and not all songs really need the additional volume & clarity, but I've enjoyed almost everything so far. Check it out!

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
Good lord. The other day I was just making fun of my Floridian gf because news stations in FLA had warning segments against this sort of thing. I had no idea people actually did this in this country. Turns out the victim and the shooter in this case were friends of friends of mine. They both worked in popular restaurants. https://www.cleveland.com/crime/2020/01/cleveland-man-charged-in-girlfriends-death-while-firing-celebratory-gunshots-new-years-day.html

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I'd like to hear some perspective on what current NFL players thought about playing for Urban. He reminds me of lot of Belichik, ie a cerebral, borderline sociopath. It's clear to me the Browns are in desperate need of players - and staff - with strong integrity and commitment. No more clownshow.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
So Freddie dialed up that trick play on 3rd and 2 in the 1st half just before the 2 min warning. It didn't work. Not a good decision but not quite the end of the world either. What is so confounding however, is hearing Freddie's press conference where he says if the play didn't lose so many yards he had planned on going for it on 4th down. How? How is that possible to even consider in that situation?

MAC: General Conference News & Discussion
Apparently Akron's backup QB Robbie Kelley came in FOURTH in Heisman online voting. Congrats Akron on the only highlight to the season. And begrudging congrats to the Golden Flashes on their first bowl win over Utah State. #MACtion #returnofthemac

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Anyone have any insight as to the prospective demographics on Lumen residents? Primarily local suburbanites looking to downsize? Or YP's who are new to the region? This is going to be interesting to see. I suppose the waiting lists for other downtown residential would help shed some light.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Infocision in Akron is 30k. Great stadium, but Horseshoe would be epic. Anyhow I'm really looking forward to seeing future concepts for the stadium site and environs.
