False start...again. What does this team do during the week? [edit] I want to apologize to the Browns O-line for what turns out to be A PURPOSEFUL FALSE START DIRECTED BY FREDDIE KITCHENS IN ORDER TO PRESERVE A TIMEOUT DESPITE MAKING IT 4TH AND 16 AND STILL GOING FOR A FIRST DOWN ON THE NEXT PLAY.

    Illegal shift.
  3. ^ I thought there was a huge underground connector to D. Am I confused in my old age?

My gf has been very vocal about IG being more pleasant. But some recent article alleges that IG actually causes the most depression.
  5. Not sure why but it always seemed like Urban Meyer's Buckeyes were allergic to rain.

Some of the beaches in Albania look really beautiful. I even started a marketing slogan that they can have. Conveniently located between Greece and Italy....Albania!

Sandford captures that power perfectly in his series Liquid Mountains, which he shot during four weeks on the shores of Port Stanley, Ontario. The town sits on the north shore of Lake Erie about 160 miles east of Buffalo, New York, and sees its share of November witches. Come on Wired, look at a map lol. Otherwise, great article!
  8. This is actually more believable. I mean, how does someone throw another person out of a moving car, while driving? Still terrible.
  9. Haha we probably split a $2 pitcher of Busch Lite at some point....there were a LOT of bad influences around!
  10. I can’t wait to see those windows lit up at nighttime.
  11. ^ Those look so terrible.

This story just keeps getting better. https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2019/10/shiba-dogg-to-perform-at-jolly-scholar-with-bone-thugs-family-in-attendance.html
  13. So Gardin believes this can be fast-tracked? Interesting. Also the beach creation idea is most intriguing. I'd very much like to see some feasibility studies. That's deep water over there. http://fishing-app.gpsnauticalcharts.com/i-boating-fishing-web-app/fishing-marine-charts-navigation.html?title=LAKE+ERIE+boating+app#15.66/41.5393/-81.6417

So that's where he got the inspiration for his lyrics lol. Miss seeing those guys. They and Madison Crawl were always about in those days.
  15. Removing seven traffic lights alone should garner support for this plan.
  16. It's shocking to me that you didn't start drinking at Thursdays at age 18 like everyone else ?

I have heard the same about Chris Andrews, though I don't remember meeting him personally. It's too bad things didn't last longer, and there seems to be virtually no visual evidence online. Like it never happened. We should give a historical walking tour lol.
  18. Ha! I didn't kill all of my brain cells at UA apparently. But 1990 Kent students used to hang in Akron and it was really happening. But the scene quickly shifted back with UA and KSU students all going out in Kent. The Valley was seen as for a more upscale, older crowd. There was Liberty Brewing Co. which was kind of awesome. Degenerates (like my friends) stayed in Akron to watch the industrial buildings crumble! p.s. the sheer number of dive bars near U of Akron back then was pretty incredible.

This story is all but forgotten, but in the late 90's early 00's NE Ohio's counterculture epicenter was Lakewood's Madison Village. Home of Chris’ Warped Records, the brilliantly sci-fi themed Capsule Nightclub, Manja, fetish shops like Chain Link Addiction, bela dubby cafe and B-Ware Videos and Books. It was a very interesting time, to say the least. Simply a bunch of friends opening small retail spots in order to create a unique sense of place. And for a few years, it worked. The hood attracted DJ's, bands, artists, and all sorts of people from all over. I remember one night seeing a DJ from NYC, a friends art show, a punk band from Japan and finally a cadre of leather-clad dominatrix girls. Crazy! There really hasn't been anything like it since.
  20. My spider senses tell me that R Shea space is the former Benny's Rubber City Bar (THE largest sports bar in the midwest!) aka Satchmos.
  21. Ex-Cleveland Indians pitcher C.C. Sabathia says farewell, ‘thank you’ to baseball By Joe Noga, cleveland.com CLEVELAND, Ohio — The baseball journey has come to an end for C.C. Sabathia, as the 19-year major league veteran pitcher shared a heartfelt thank you Monday via social media. Sabathia, who was selected by the Indians No. 20 overall in the first round of the 1998 draft, walked off the mound Friday after injuring himself during Game 5 of an American League Championship series game between New York and Houston. He had earlier announced his intention to retire at season’s end, which came about Saturday when the Astros defeated the Yankees to reach the World Series. “Through the ups and downs, baseball has always been my home,” Sabathia wrote. “From Cleveland to Milwaukee, New York and everywhere in between, I’m so thankful to have experienced this journey with every teammate past and present.” https://www.cleveland.com/tribe/2019/10/ex-cleveland-indians-pitcher-cc-sabathia-says-farewell-thank-you-to-baseball.html
  22. Longtime Lakewood folks seem to love denigrating the east side of town. It's completely undeserved. I'm a little biased, sure, but my view is that any house in Lakewood is a wise investment.

Ooh, was never a fan of "Cincinnat-uh" lol. "K-LUMbus" 2.5 syllables. p.s. Newark NJ is "Nork." One syllable. And NJ is "Juhhh-zee" not "Joisy."
  24. Well considering they lost to Akron last year, they should've been prepared for this.
  25. It would be nice to have a small grocery there. Someone mentioned a clothing store could be the tenant. I could see a destination like CLE Clothing or the like. Also, it's always so painful to read FB comments on anything going on in Lakewood. So many people complaining about parking and traffic...lol. I wish they could all be relocated to [insert car-centric outer ring suburb here]
