Lakewood: Downtown: CASTO Development
^ I'm somewhat glad that the hospital controversy hasn't permeated UO. There's a reason why I try to avoid local politics or know too much of what goes on. I don't want to be overly angry and/or miserable. Ignorance is bliss.

I'm okay with these. Most NBA fans are going nuts over them.

Cleveland SC Soccer Stadium
This seems like the best thread for this. And here's a sentence you don't hear very often. I wanted to make sure there were opportunities for new players as well. I called Sam up to see what he had to say.” Seibert met Osborne at a pub in East Cleveland and the two believed in each other right away. https://www.protagonistsoccer.com/features/being-as-cleveland-as-possible

Ha! I too have experienced enemy doors growing up. So annoying. I feel for the wealthy types in big houses, who have never had to deal with doorknob entanglement.

Very stoked to see some admiration from our enemies.

Columbus: Downtown: Lower.com Field / Astor Park
I'm also fixated not on the stadiums, but on the triangle land between them. My initial reaction is that the Confluence is too closed off. Is there any hope of extending an actual street grid here?

Cleveland: Population Trends
MINNEAPOLIS – Cargill today reported $3.2 billion in adjusted operating earnings for the 2018 fiscal year, one of its best performances. Seems to me the most sensible thing would be to charge the companies to repair the damage. They can afford to. But, I know that's not going to happen.

Lakewood: Development and News
Well Lakewood is kind of liberal.....but not so liberal that anyone truly gives a damn what renters think lol. Looking forward to the renderings.

The buildings are north. I wouldn't think shadows would be an issue here. Maybe people want to keep their unimpeded scenic view of Einsteins Bagels or something.

Project attorney! Back then we were located adjacent to the law library (when such things were still relevant lol). I still miss those views. Did you enjoy working there? They have to be one of the largest firms in CLE by now.

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
Yep! All the time! I've had intelligent people ask about whether it was salt or fresh water they were seeing. The question about tides is a little more intricate. Answer: yes, there are in fact tides but they're so inconsequential that they're not measured. Also worth mentioning is that when I worked in Key Tower on floor 39, my supervisor would come to the window and stare out over the water. She loved doing so every chance she got. On her first day of work we all remembered she asked what body of water that was. She grew up in Medina County.

They would be okay-with-me ground floor tenants in a larger, more appropriate mixed use building.

surfohio replied to CMH_Downtown's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionHow can a so-called "arts district" look so utterly conformist and corporate?

I use them everyday as a driver and pedestrian. By any measure they're a drastic improvement.

Great. Anyone who has been to Ingenuity there can attest that those existing warehouses can work out.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
So Lue wasn't on the same page as the owner and gm. And we had to go ten games into the season to find this out? This is organizational disarray, plain and simple.

So why fire Lue then?

And sign Kevin Love? This team makes no sense. They don't even tank the right way.
