"I thought happiness was Lubbock, Texas in my rearview mirror" - Mac Davis- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I believe the people enjoying public square and those walking down Euclid were hired actors by @MayDay. The bee may be a plant as well. I think I can just make out a pin out in its Thorax, but it could be well hidden. @MayDayis a seasoned professional. #emptydowntowncleveland #beautyinunexpectedplaces- Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
Fire up the ChatPGT bot and direct it to search Ken's email inbox. Le voilà! Safe travels, @KJP!- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Speaking of tight fits, can they shoehorn a football field into Progressive Field? Sorry.... this was just a joke.- Lake Erie
D%mn, I'm a terrible multitasker. Back to work!- Lake Erie
Hmmm...beautiful and interesting. is this image reversed, or does the sun set in the east in Vermillon? Or better yet, a local promontory jutting out into the lake?- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Hi @surfohioIs mentioning "meat-chicken" A VIOLATION of UO rules? https://www.history.com/news/the-toledo-war-when-michigan-and-ohio-nearly-came-to-blows Maybe we are friends now and I missed the memo?- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News

Ah, I understand. Kudos for finding yet another way to support Ukraine.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Great narration. @KJP Ken! You are sounding more and more like a longtime pro! It's a lot of information to squeeze into a short video. Maybe next video, you can apply Ken Burn's trick to slowly zoom into the still photos/maps to connect your voice to the image. PS, Hey! No mention of the Jetport? 😏- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
LOL, @TMartAs a homework assignment please read the previous 172 pages of posts and report back to us tomorrow. Everyone of us each originally had their misgivings. Meanwhile, it's our very own SW Hdqrts and we all love it to death. 🥰- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Maybe because i don't currently live in NEO, I've lost track of the discussion. Why do we choose to have a massive stadium on a prime lakefront spot other than it's already there and there are major cost savings associated with infrastructure, remodeling, etc. . Are UO's in agreement on this or are we split down the ragged middle?- Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
The proposal I recall reading last year is that a portion of LED lights on each marquee had capabilities of creating different colors.- Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Can someone better skilled in Photoshop add one of these curvy roof things to Erieview Tower and perhaps the Justice Center?- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters

Glad you and any passengers weren't hurt. Wow, that's a major crash. How fast were you going at impact?- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Well, SW announced that one of their major drivers for building the new headquarters was to attract the next generation of workers. Did they bother to speak to any of them? This conversation will just make us angry all over again. Best to stop.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Just think how easy and welcoming it would have been for SW to split shack with a public / private divide and include a PS facing cafe. Sheez. It's not like any other company has figured out how to do this around the world.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement

Personally, I believe this addition has a lot to be commended and fits the site pretty darn well. IMO, it's not that the present building is some sort generational masterpiece that must be preserved at all costs 🗼. At the risk of rehashing a likely old debate, for those unhappy with the design, what other concepts would you nominate? (Mods, please delete if this is an unnecessary conversation).- Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
https://www.curbed.com/2023/07/david-adjaye-harassment-starchitect.html Well written article on Adjaye and Starchitects and prominent architecture firms in general. Read this one instead to avoid the painful revelations of Adjaye's reported behavior described in the original FT article.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
No doubt! Just commenting on the aesthetics of this specific office tower post conversion.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Geez Louise. The Baton Rouge office building exterior after conversion looks awful in this picture. Perhaps, its the photo, but the original exterior had some lightness to it that is all but gone. IMO. - The Great USA / World Photo Thread
