  2. No, it's definitely not K&D. The already have their hands full with Leader & Halle plus office renovations at Reserve Square.
  3. There is not "resistance" to developing on West 6th. My sources say this will happen long before Stark builds any new office or residential building for nucleus.
  4. I hope Zaremba can actually get the financing lined up to develop 13th & Superior into a mid-rise. That would help transform a sleeping area.

  6. I heard the problem is with a woman in the City Law Dept who is assigned to this (not the State). That is causing a hold up now.
  7. Love the volleyball idea! I heard a woman in the City's Law Department has been making things VERY difficult for the developer lately regarding land leases. Hope they can work through it.
  8. 18th & Superior: Yes, downtown immediately drops off near E. 12th and could use some height. The other downtown sites mentioned will eventually get developed anyway. While the area near Superior and east of E. 12th could use a serious shot in the arm. Plus we don't need these facilities in the middle of a growing residential area.

  11. I heard that the E. 13th parking lot was a separate RFP. Not related to Greyhound.
  12. My sources say that The Chester GH site was set to be redeveloped this summer, until a certain woman at the City got involved. She required a few new studies (NOACCA, etc), nixed a specific multi-million dollar re-development proposal, and instead wants to issue a "RFP for developers in 2016 or 2017". So, due to the City's inertia, this may not happen for a long time.

  14. The City law does NOT allow demo in downtown for parking UNLESS a redevelopment plan is submitted. Then it is a temporary 1 year permit.

  18. Traffic stinks on Crocker Road and is getting worse. The timing of traffic lights is also bad.

  22. Pietro lied. They set the price high to make as much money as possible. This LA company does not care about anything else. But I am super excited to see what Bob Stark can do here!
