Wow - all of them, but the second to last photo, she's beautiful.

Great photos - I think now that we can see the actual tapering at the top it is helping the building to not seem so chubby.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Once again, this has become ridiculous. The Bengals have sold out 52 straight games, all under the completely inept ownership of Mike Brown. I personally would like to see how another city would respond with the track record he has had since 1990 - what is it 2 winning seasons? I would hazard a guess that that team would not continue to sell out games, and would likely be ridden out of town. This year, the team made the playoffs, which is good, certainly not great. Cleveland football fans' obsession with the Bengals as well as the Bearcats is old, yet very typical. This is a little strange, because having gone to OSU and UC I am a fan of both, but the flaming on that and this board is a real turn-off. I guess I have not read it that much, but it just doesn't seem like Cincy fans go onto the Brown's board to talk smack. Not that there is not a lot of smack to be had.

As long as the winter is not as long and cold as winter in Cleveland we will be fine - thanks! However, since you are the second Browns fan to make this statement I thought I would point out to you that by losing to the Jets, the Texans were eliminated not the Steelers - just saying. The Steelers had been eliminated prior to the Bengals/Jets game.

This is ridiculous - the Bengals fans are so obsessed with the Browns that they felt the need to go to that board to give the fans crap about losing in the playoffs. Oh, I forgot, it was the other way around. I think about the Browns 2 days a year, period. Again, if that history makes you happy great, but try sharing it with people who care. I should clarify that I am not dismissing what happened in the past, but the fact remains when people today ask about success they are going to ask about the Super Bowl. For the Browns, they have not played in it.

If "has been" fuels your tank, in a bygone era, a bygone world then enjoy it (aka not a Super Bowl). If your support of your team moves you to comment about another team enjoy that as well. Personally, I prefer to support the team I root for, and leave the smack for the so-called sports message boards. Oh, the protestation....absolute genius.... Generally, when your team is criticized by other fans it means they don't suck. Congratulations then because that would make the Bengals the least sucky team in history!!

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Overall I would say it was a good year for football in Cincinnati. How many cities in the country have their NFL team make the playoffs and their college team go to a BCS game in the same year (furthering my belief that we have one of the best mixes of pro/college sports around)? The post season results were clearly disappointing, but I would take this over many other alternatives. And the Bengals have been to 2 Super Bowls, which is what the big game is referred to in modern times. Generally, when your team is criticized by other fans it means they don't suck. Congrats to coach Lewis.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
It may have been pruned, but early in the year I think I predicted 59 as being my hopeful estimate. Not to treat life like it is just a statistic, but for perception 60 is good news. We would have been better if we did not have that little flurry at the beginning of December. Anyway, hopefully we continue in this direction.

University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Discussion
Wow, that was a complete letdown. This game felt eerily like the last time Ohio State played Florida, right down to the 27 point margin of defeat. UC could just not stop that short passing game early and that was that as they say.

LOL about the porn music - I could hardly pay attention to the update because I was laughing. Maybe something out the cheesy, 70's era pre-video. It looks like a youtube link was posted, but DT was the exact movie that came to mind.

University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Discussion
^^^^^^ Nice tool comment. Maybe a lack of a college team. Oh well, no shock here, and I will trust that Kelly is taking his dream job, but UC really has to figure this out. I think they are past losing a mediocre coach to a middling school in another BCS conference (ala Dantonio to Michigan State), but they need to be able to hold onto a great coach in the future. Obviously what they did with Kelly did not work, and now we will see if he can break the streak for ND. Aside from this news, I would like to congratulate Bearcat Nation for selling out their ticket allotment by 9 AM this morning. More striking is that this was done with the backdrop of a coach who was obviously bailing. This is what really begins to build the tradition, and if you continue to build the fan base, especially in a football hotbed, the program will continue to grow.

What is disappointing is that Kelly has not even gotten the blue chip recruits yet. The Queen City could provide much of the pipeline for him to have success his entire tenure. We all understand ND's tradition, but when is the last time they were relevant? They have been more of a coaches' graveyard than a football power recently, and that is why fans would have a problem. We know Kelly is a success at Cincinnati, but he could simply be one more in a list of failures at ND. The move would be for the money.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
I would like to see the "Smitherman Issue" placed on the ballot whereby the number of signatures required to get something on the ballot is raised substantially. As it is, I feel like the city is held accountable to the whims of any idiot.

264 of 285 precincts, No at 56%. Way to go Cincinnati - this is huge for the future of the city.

You think there will be 120k voters - I would be surprised if there are that many but it's possible. More like about 15%. But while the margin is still a little too close for comfort for me, I'm feeling better now than I did a few hours ago.

I think the last off-election year the city had about 59k people vote so we could be close to a third of the way there.

I should have just referred to it as wlwt.com, but I sure hope they are the ones that are wrong. It would be nice to start with a lead although there is a long way to go. ...and at 9:30 they have corrected their numbers.

I think an undefeated UC could still end up ahead of an undefeated Iowa, and would definitely be ahead of TCU and Boise. Of course none of it matters if the top 3 do not lose. Here's to the 'Cats finishing strong, and as Kelly says, as long as they keeping winning everything will take care of itself.

^ Hardcore - I like it, but I like the way the glass on this building is already looking better. Some have said it, but the renderings are not going to do justice to the impact on the skyline.

University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Discussion
Once again the big one disappoints - no need to gloat and at this point the Bearcats have not won anything this year. I know speculation is for the media pundits (and us the anonymous critics), but I hope the players are keeping their heads on straight. Not to mention the other team, which still has quite a history that is nothing to mock, should be viewed as what can happen. For example, they were obviously the best team in the country in '96 and '98 and flubbed it. Of course they were very vulnerable in '02 and won it all. Be cool 'Cats be cool.......
