  2. Tonights game against Kansas State is televised on ESPU. I've never followed Dayton but I've been watching this game.
  3. Here are 2 more, by the same company and in the same area. They are near the Henry Ford Hospital. More parking ugh
  4. Looks nice, what other towns did you visit?
  5. ^Most definately, I'm not sure if you've seen the building in person but the block will look so weird when it is gone. All that will be left is the 2 coney islands and that 3-story building.
  6. Here is a photo update on the Lafayette
  7. Okay so I copied off the Cincinnati thread  I decided to make this one for buildings outside of downtown that aren't significant enough to deserve their own threads. Here is the soon to be demo'd Lincolnshire

7 subways within 4 miles?! Wow. I love that place though so I wouldn't complain :)
  10. I would like to know which ones. Do you have pictures or know the names of them?
  11. Nice, I should be visiting Cleveland for the first time soon.
  12. On my way home from Battle Creek and Kalamazoo we stopped in Galesburg. This town made me sad, it has certainly seen better days. But it received a large grant to revitalize its downtown. *Population 1,988 (2000 Census) *Kalamazoo County *Kalamazoo is about 10 miles west and Battle Creek 10 miles east.

I visited my lady friend in Mt. Clemens again...we had some time to blow off before the movie so naturally I wanted to go downtown and wherever I go my camera does :)
  14. Thanks for posting. Haven't been to Toledo lately.
  15. Sorry for the blurriness. The 2 buildings in the first picture might be demolished. Believe it or not preservationists are really trying to save them.
  16. It doesn't sound like there is much hope for the 2-decade abandoned YWCA building. I made this thread to discuss what should be done with it and any updates on what will. http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/theskyline/2009/11/michigan-avenue-ywca-building-preservationists-strive-to-rescue-crumbling-landmark-.html
  17. Does anyone have pictures of some of the houses the city wants demolished?
  18. Kalamazoo has about 72,700 people. I was pleasantly surprised with Kalamazoo. I would have to say it is my 3rd favorite city in Michigan, after GR and Detroit.
  19. Make sure you check out part 1. http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,20924.0.html All these pictures are pretty much random, like buildings near the restaurant we ate at and driving around exploring the city.
  20. *Population 53,364 (2000 Census) *Also known as Cereal City, home to Kelloggs headquarters Up next....Kalamazoo!
  21. I didn't know it was that bad there....looks like a city I'd like!
  22. haha that's awesome!
  23. Sad, I'm thinking of making a trip to Middletown one of these days.
