According to the data, the average number of 90-degree days has been steadily declining since the 1880s, as well. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/07/28/2014-The-Coolest-U-S-Summer-on-Record Global warming my arse!- Cleveland: 2014 Gay Games IX News & Discussion

I thought you only have to come within 80% of the returning salary? Edit: If you want to be thoroughly confused on the trades and salary cap... http://www.cbafaq.com/salarycap.htm#Q82- Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
So I happened to check the webcam last night and this is what I saw... It's like the Ark of the Covenant was opened and the demons of Hell were released, signaling a new positive age in Cleveland.- Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
I'm not sure there will be a large concrete Matt incorporated into the foundation. I was under the impression that this was all caissons and grade beams. Pretty sure that is the case also considering elevator cores are out of the ground already. Not going to pour the foundation around them. Seems like there has to be some kind of concrete foundation poured. But, it has been so long since we have had a building with caissons that I forget the construction techniques. I think the last building with caissons was the Key bank and that was over 20 years ago. Actually I believe the Convention Center had drilled caissons as well.- Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
Definitely not our Great Grandfather's type of construction site.- Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
I'm just glad that building hasn't been demolished. That building has great character and it would be great to finally have it renovated.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field

So this crane will be as tall as One Cleveland Center when fully extended.- Cleveland: Flats East Bank
It should at least have a light canopy type structure over the dance floor and bars. This isn't Phoenix with clear skies 325 days a year. It would still feel open with a light roof.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Success for Cleveland's new lakefront pedestrian bridge requires high speed design excellence By Steven Litt, The Plain Dealer It was big news for city planning and urban design in Cleveland last week that Cuyahoga County launched the search for a team to design the long-desired pedestrian bridge that would link the downtown Mall to North Coast Harbor. Coupled with plans to revamp Public Square by 2016, the pedestrian bridge has the potential to project a global image of Cleveland as a can-do city that has the capacity to carry out ambitious public works at lightning speed. But the county's deadline of finishing the bridge in time for the Republican National Convention here in 2016 should come with a significant caveat. With speed comes risk. The danger is that without a spectacular performance by all concerned during the critically important early design phase, the city could settle for a project that might fail to make the most of an extraordinary opportunity. more at: http://www.cleveland.com/architecture/index.ssf/2014/07/success_in_designing_cleveland.html#incart_river- Cleveland: Downtown: John Hartness Brown Buildings / Euclid Grand
"Due to open in Fall 2017, the Le Méridien Cleveland will be located at 1001-1101 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland" I thought the original idea was sometime in 2016? Is that a typo?- Cleveland: Public Square Redesign

Are there any plans for Cleveland to apply again for a TIGER grant? They've been shot down what three times now so maybe it's time to look for funding elsewhere?- Cleveland: Downtown: Office Tower & Ferrari Showroom

Hayward is listed as a SG. Wiggins is also listed as a SG. Unless they plan to play Wiggins at SF or vice versa with Hayward then this could work. - Cleveland: 2014 Gay Games IX News & Discussion
