That is interesting news. Looks like all they are doing now is soil borings for foundations. One plus of jury duty I guess is views of the city like this. I wish there was more construction going on though.- Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Plus there is a stage there so I'm guessing that protects an overzealous guitarist rifting into Euclid.- Cleveland: Cleveland Institute of Art Expansion
One more level up.- Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
Moving along.- Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
Not much going on yet. But a nice level elevation to start drilling.- Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
That was meant as a joke plus isn't it technically in the Gateway District?- Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
Why not kill two birds with one stone eh?- Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
Google maps allows you to 'walk down' Barn Ct. to get a feel for it.- Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
I suppose they could add buses to alleviate some capacity, which would increase the frequency of buses at each stop. They could run into overcrowding however as was often the case with street cars back in the day.- Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
It sounds to me like it is an interior demolition permit. The article notes a build-out which would mean an empty shell that they are rebuilding interior walls to create the space.- Cleveland: Clark–Fulton / Stockyards: Development and News
Some historical info. for gits and shiggles.- Parma: Development and News
Ah yes I thought I remembered those discussions..thanks KJP. Now we will be able to start visualizing the neighborhood massing once this thing really gets out of the ground.- Parma: Development and News
That's probably the easiest way to get to Ridge since it would go over 480.- Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Is the lettering or any other portion of the gateways planned to be lit? Some silhouette lighting behind the PHS lettering would look cool. Edit: looking a few pages back they are LED lit channel letters.- Parma: Development and News
^And a pipe dream of mine is that RTA extends a light rail line down Ridge- Cleveland: Flats East Bank
The lot between the apartment building and EY/Aloft was planned for a parking garage with more apartments above it in PH 3. This plan is from October of 2012 so it is rather outdated. This version also appears to have plans for a garage between blgs. 1 and 2 with additional buildings south of the garage. In the plan posted by trav, that appears to have been eliminated.- Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Wow after seeing the actual gateway, not in favor of such a massive and bulky monstrosity crossing the street. They should have just put a larger vertical sign on the pillers on each street side. Similar in concept to the light pillars at CSU.- Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
Certainly will, especially after a new use is found for the old Union Commerce across the street. Is that another way of saying 925 Euclid?- Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
I saw the construction elevator rising to the upper floors of the Breuer tower at 8:30 pm tonight. They must be working second shifts to get this one done asap.- Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
^It's just a master plan.... That proposed building to be demolished is quite a disaster though.- Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
^It probably has to do with the possible noise deadening ability of concrete.- Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
Single story? Really? So much for density. There should be zoning restrictions for a minimum of 3-4 stories in the City Center. - Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
