Early Cleveland building pics
My favorites are the Bingham construction photos shown in another post. There are probably another 10-15 of those...although some are in poor shape. Ummm try 38 more Bingham construction pictures...not 10-15! Not to mention the tons of other building and streetscape pictures. I have a lot of scanning to do. In do time...hang in there guys. A historic Cleveland gigantapost forthcoming.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
The spoiled brat antics of FC is really getting nauseating. So I foresee FC not getting their site selected...then paying a PI to dig up as much dirt as possible on MMPI to slam them as a pout and foot stomp reaction to not getting chosen

The Bingham construction photos
Here's an idea. You take some "today" photos and post, and Firenze98 can scan and post his pictures. We can compare the changes. How does that sound? Make it happen kids! I actually thought about that after posting the pics but half of them either don't exist anymore or I have to locate them if they do. But I will try that.

Early Cleveland building pics
Never thought of contacting them since we just found the pictures. These have been collecting dust in my deceased former boss' basement for the past 50 years so not many have seen them. I probably only scanned maybe 1/4 of the total pictures. My favorites are the Bingham construction photos shown in another post. There are probably another 10-15 of those...although some are in poor shape.

Early Cleveland building pics
I came across several pictures of buildings constructed in the 1910's and 1920's. While many still stand I'm sure there are many that do not exist anymore. I don't know where most of these are but the company names with some of the photos are the original company occupying the building. There are some interior shots as well.

The Bingham construction photos
My office came across some old photos of projects past and I found some construction photos of The Bingham, located off of W. 9th. The building was under construction in 1914-15. We must have been the structural engineers to the architect...Walker & Weeks Architects. This kinda of history excites the hell out of me and thought I'd share. I have more but only scanned a few. I have other building photos from the teens and twenties that I'll get around to sharing sometime soon. Enjoy.

Prague (Praha) Summer 2008: The most beautiful city in Europe!
I visted Prague in 1998 and agree that it was quite a beautiful city. Another amazing thing is how some parts of the city are almost frozen in time from the years of Communist rule. Many cars are still from the 50-60s. One of my favorite areas of Prague.

Cheater No...I've been to a few cities in the area; Genova, Milan, Nice, Parma (not to be confused that place on the SW side of Cleveland) Pisa, Torino even Firenze. Excellent!
