  1. Is the façade restoration maybe a requirement of receiving the historic tax credits? Did this project receive credits?
  2. Let's bring the AVP volleyball tour to Cleveland!
  3. The article mentioned they try to time the awards with the Warped Tour's stop in Cleveland. They are trying to see if the Warped Tour can alter it's date to be in Cleveland.
  4. That's a loaded agenda. Should be interesting.
  5. ^double click the small cam view and it opens up into a full screen mode.
  6. ^Shut the Flip up! Seriously?
  7. Somebody is apparently looking for an updated soils report.
  8. It will always look like a glass box. The exterior is...glass.
  9. LOL. Those masonry walls will have efflorescence in about one year.

    Then and now....Case Observatory
  11. A few views from the crooked river.
  12. ^That's great news! However K&D always seems to rename these apartment buildings with a clumsy name. Why not just The Leader Residence...instead of The Residence at The Leader.
  13. Getting back to the way it was back in the mid 1920's.
  14. Looks to me like they shifted the stair tower further north than the original plans. Plans showed the stairs right adjacent to the elevators.
  15. ^^ The area on the upper right where it looks like the floor slab is about 10 times as thick.
  16. it needs density for safety reasons as well. There needs to be people on the streets at all hours in the neighborhood to start pushing some of this crime out. Density helps with that Bingo! A great read here...Jane Jacobs http://www.amazon.com/Death-Life-Great-American-Cities/dp/067974195X
  17. How unfortunate.....
  18. Looks like maybe a portion of that building was demolished, which had all those smaller stacks?
  19. ^ "The apartments are leasing so fast and the demand so strong for this live, work, play environment that we're going to complete West 11th Street," said Adam Fishman. Shwing!
  20. I wonder if there will be any additional lighting along the boardwalk. Currently just looks like under-rail lighting on the guards. Renderings showed light poles along the boardwalk. Also, I really hope someday the boardwalk can be extended all the way to Setler's Landing, which maybe that's already in some sort of master plan.
  21. Wow! Well done and thanks. Those pictures have me pumped to check it out. Is it just me or has Flip Side been under construction since like 2001? I agree, too much open space but hopefully phase 3 can begin soon to close in W. 11th Street for a more urban feel.
  22. ^Based on the Crains 2013 article, the first floor will be occupied by the hotel and a restaurant. No mention of retail. "Mr. Intihar said a planned first-floor restaurant and the hotel would provide a more active street environment than if the building were strictly apartments." http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20130627/FREE/130629810/work-gets-back-into-gear-in-50-million-conversion-of-schofield
  23. I believe a restaurant for sure, I thought I remember hearing to be located at the corner by Euclid. Not sure about retail.
