Cleveland: Asiatown: Development and News
theres free parking there, so id say workers drive. at lunch time the places there do seem busy, just something i noticed. and id argue that the arts district and the chinatown ones are pretty much in the same places. from the E20s to the E50s/60s

Cleveland: Asiatown: Development and News
i would say the place would be more successful due to its proximity to downtown, if the neighborhood cant manage to support it, the people who work downtown during the day most definately can. which is somewhat why chinatown is successful right now.

Building in the spirit of harmony Developers designing with feng shui in mind Sunday, April 24, 2005 Olivera Perkins Plain Dealer Reporter Gladys Lane will cut its way through the Florian Court townhouse development with a slight curve instead of a straight path. The bend is more than a minor zig- zag. "It slows down energy so that it will bring better prosperity and health to the residents," explained Diana Garber, a consultant for the project. Read More...

Intel imagines wireless Cleveland
Intel imagines wireless Cleveland Chip maker offers its help in creating a cutting-edge regional network Thursday, April 07, 2005 Henry J. Gomez Plain Dealer Reporter Cleveland rarely tops the list of information-technology trendsetters. But by this time next year, police could be filing reports from the coffee shop. Building inspectors might be able to complete a walk-through with a few simple clicks. Officials from Intel Corp., the Silicon Valley computer chip-making giant, visited the rust belt this week to schmooze with politicians and local technology leaders about collaborations that could make Northeast Ohio one of the most wireless regions in the country. Intel has tapped Greater Cleveland to join Philadelphia and Corpus Christi, Texas, as the U.S. participants in its Digital Cities Initiative. The project offers the possibility of Intel funding and professional support to regions looking to enhance their wireless communications. Representatives from Intel presented their plans to Mayor Jane Campbell at a Wednesday breakfast. Among the possibilities discussed were mobile technology for building inspections and utility-meter readings, a digitally reformed public safety department and a "wireless cloud" that eventually could hover over all of Northeast Ohio. For Cleveland, it's a chance to promote a business-friendly atmosphere. More at Cleveland.com

Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
well i kinda liked the cia rendering I think if the photo is made proportional the tower looks rather proportional as well. Also i like the other renderings on the website, its nice to see some fresh ideas/concepts for cleveland for a change, regardless if they're realistic or "pretty" or whatever

CLEVELAND - Pinnacle update!
ya know i saw the tip of of The Pinnacle from Lorain/Carnegie downtown. It barely dented the skyline, but still, if something 20+ stories got built in the lot where the crain is it would definately be adding height to that area and it would be a noticeable skyline change.
