Cleveland: Random Development and News
yea thats why theres a weird set of train tracks that go over that small red brick road behind the school... i think they connected to the building at one time. the section it connected to is now the sculpture department. I've heard a lot of buzz and rumors about CIA actually starting fairly soon on their new building, anyone else hear details about this?

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
i heard a lot of people kind of surprised at Ingenuity as to what the county picked. it was definately to the tune of "none of these look good except these two" and those were referring to the rehabbed version and Perkins & Will renderings. It seemed like a lot of people there were expecting a new skyscraper.

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
i was wondering the same about whats on the side of the rotunda building... solar panels? no... its in the shade... theres nothing environmental or sustainable looking with this building. where are the trees going to go? I hope they have to reconfigure this design and that the other euclid ave building is renovated in this project, because right now that structure looks like a much worse replacement

Walkable Communities
Yea i was wondering about transit since I could walk to two train stations and a circulator stop is right outside my house. also Marc's isnt listed on there as either grocery or convenience for some reason... even though its closer than the "Giant Eagle" at Cedar Fairmount.... heh

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
well then i guess we have through service to Frankfurt because that flight to Shanghai is basically the same type of plane transfer along with the in between flight times. it should be noted though that when I left for Germany I was checked in Cleveland through customs, but as long as I stayed in the gated area at Newark I didnt have to be checked again.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
hmm i dont mind this rule, ya know... but public square's condition is the result of Cleveland's and furthermore America's issues with race and class. A curfew, an extermination, a soup kitchen-mobile thing is not going to resolve whats going on in that square. If only we did bother to invest in ways to combat poverty or ya know, education, infrastructure... etc... i think this is a bigger problem by the way, any news on fixing the place up? or is that after the EC...

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
At first I was totally aginst the FC site, but given the Medical Mart possibly occupying Higbees... a building that hasnt seen much activity downtown... I dont mind it anymore. I feel like that aspect alone brings the FC site into a tie with the current one...

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
see now this is exciting news. It would be wonderful if this could be worked out to be a rehab as somewhat of a compromise honestly. There would be retail and residential along with the officeworkers in that section of euclid. dont forget theres plans across the street for more rental units as well by other developers...
