Wood framing begins to rise at Fifth x Northwest Apartments at 1350 W 5th Ave

I know one of the employees at Jaycee Arms and I had a chance to talk to him for a few minutes yesterday about the upcoming project. He said he was told construction will definitely start "sometime in 2024" but they're not exactly sure when. He said crews will first build a new parking area next to the existing building, then build the new apartments where the parking lots are now. Trees were cleared on site a little over a month ago but no other noticeable movement as of yet.

Tried to check multiple projects on Galloway Rd while I was in the area- Early work continues at Chase Landings (marked SUBAREA C on the map below) as crews continue to build roads and sidewalks throughout the development. *Although vertical construction hasn't started quite yet, most of the lots are already sold.

Honda plants 85,000 trees in Union County to reduce its carbon footprint "Honda says it has planted 85,000 trees near its Union County factories as part of its effort to reduce its carbon footprint. The trees were planted on 100 acres of Honda-owned land along the Flat Branch Creek near its Marysville Auto Plant, East Liberty Auto Plant and Auto Development Center. Honda is calling the area the Honda Power of Dreams Forest. The trees are native to Ohio.
