  1. Manufacturer opening new west Columbus facility "California-based Nuvo Packaging plans to open a new facility at 845 Kaderly Dr. in the Hilltop area, creating 100 full-time jobs. This would be the company's first Ohio location. It is expected to open sometime in May. Nuvo Packaging is a plastic thermoforming company specializing in making recyclable food packaging for the bakery, deli, confectionary, and food services industries.   2. Had a chance to check out the Eastwood project at E Main and Summit Rd yesterday as well. The focus seems to be mainly on the residential portion, with some infrastructure projects across the site still finishing up. The main part of the development was blocked off yesterday so I just snatched a few quick ones from the main entrance area.

  4. Five Guys to open new location across from Children's Hospital "According to city permits, Five Guys appears to be opening another Columbus location at 491 E. Livingston Ave., right across from Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The new 2,500 square foot restaurant will include both indoor and outdoor seating.   6. Silt fence up at Main and Hanson where a fieldhouse and more sheets of ice are planned. Hopefully we'll see construction on the new facility start soon. (The new COPC Eastside Medical Center can be seen in the distance)

Work well underway now at the Alliance site near Main & Brice Adjacent to the Alliance site, work is wrapping up on the new CML Reynoldsburg library on Brice Across the street from the new library, tree clearing is underway at the future Brice Park site, a new park that Columbus and Reynoldsburg are partnering on
  8. CyrusOne plans $150m data center in New Albany "Dallas-based CyrusOne is planning a $150 million data center development in New Albany, Ohio. The company will spend $100m on building the data center, and $50m on acquiring the land for the facility. First “super load” headed to Intel site scheduled to begin trip on April 3rd "The fourth of nearly two dozen “super loads” is scheduled to begin the journey north from Adams County on April 3rd with delivery on April 9th. This will be the first load to head to New Albany and the new $28 billion Intel plant in Licking County. The schedule includes a pause for the solar eclipse which is expected to bring a significant increase in traffic to the state of Ohio. The convoy will stop in West Portsmouth, Chillicothe, Rickenbacker, and Pickerington or Pataskala before delivery.
