Approaching Elevate 340 From Fulton

Crews continue to prepare each of the old electric towers running along Parsons Ave for upcoming removal. Electric lines have now been removed from Rathmell Road north to Williams Road (except for the lines over 270). This project will remove all the old electric towers along Parsons Ave from Rathmell Road to Marion Road.

Already pretty big changes at the 88-acre East of Africa Road project site that the city of Westerville kicked off last week. A little bit about the East of Africa Road project... "In addition to future businesses, one roundabout, two miles of new roads and park-like retention ponds will run through what are now fields. Westar Boulevard and Hoff Road will also be extended. The tree canopy will be preserved, with bike paths added. East of Africa Road will be bordered to the east by the Ashton Village, Berkshire Commons and Courtyards of Village Crossing subdivisions. There are five subareas to East of Africa Road."

Retreat at Crosswoods will add 395 units to Campus View Blvd in the Crosswoods area

The Hudson Street/Cleveland Ave intersection rebuild continues to move along. This project will "reconstruct the signal to improve signal head visibility, add northbound and southbound left turn lanes, add a westbound right turn lane, and improve pedestrian safety along the south side of Hudson Street."

CML Linden Branch

The 2nd Ave Infrastructure project continues to move west from Cleveland Ave to 6th Street. This portion (west of Grant Ave) rebuilds the crumbling walls, which are now a thing of the past!
