  3. After a couple weeks of no movement, cleanup has started back up at the Ohio Cast Stone site at 45 W Barthman! I was out there a little earlier and had a chance to speak with the owner who happened to be there. He said they are still waiting on the permit to tear the old abandoned building down, but it's definitely "coming down soon". Can't wait to see this site cleaned up and repurposed!

  6. I could be wrong but I thought they took that project off the table, at least for now. Anybody else remember hearing this?
  7. I think you're correct. I was talking to someone there a few weeks ago and they said they originally thought it would probably take around 6 months to sift the lot, but now realized it wouldn't take that long.
  8. Spoke with someone who works at the Drake a few hours ago. She said their last day in the building is Wednesday May 24th. She also said she was told demolition is expected to begin around May 31st.

  10. Heavy machinery gathering at Main and Maplewood!
  11. Just got back from there about fifteen minutes ago. Can't believe how much busier it is each week compared to the previous week! It was also extra dusty out there today. My car is covered! Lol
  12. Columbus Castings site evolving rapidly! I was able to get on site an hour or so ago (love Sunday security lol) so i snatched a few more of the largest of the three new warehouses going up: And one from the other side of the building- from Friday evening:
  13. If you're talking about the Rambler- I've posted some a few times but I was waiting for it to move along to the "next phase" before posting more of it because currently the pics will look similar to the last set. I've been keeping my eye on it though 😉
  14. Office building at Astor Park
  15. Lusso continues to rise And the northern portion of Stella as seen from the Lusso site
  16. The first three apartment buildings now rising at the Orchards. Once complete, this will be a seven building complex on Rathmell Rd across from Google. It's great to see so much development on the far south side!
  17. Work is well underway on a second Sheetz location on Alum Creek Drive, this one north of 270
  18. City Lands Grant for 7-Mile Trail and Park in Linden "The City of Columbus was awarded nearly $2.5 million for the purchase of an abandoned rail corridor that runs through Linden. The plan is turn the seven-mile-long, 58-acre piece of land into a linear park, with a 10-foot-wide shared use path running along its entire length. The corridor is approximately 80 feet wide and stretches from South Linden to Northland – specifically, from the Douglas Community Center on Windsor Avenue to Cooper Park, which sits north of State Route 161. There would be over 40 access points to the linear park, which would run through several different neighborhoods and be located within a ten-minute walk of about 131,000 people, according to materials produced by the city’s Recreation and Parks Department." https://columbusunderground.com/city-lands-grant-for-7-mile-trail-and-park-in-linden-bw1/
  19. I think you're talking about this: "The proposal, from Marker Development, calls for five floors of apartments over a two-story parking garage. The bottom two levels would also hold a lobby and about 4,400 square feet of commercial space (on the Broad Street side of the building), and six townhomes on the Gay Street side of the building." https://columbusunderground.com/seven-story-building-proposed-for-west-broad-street-bw1/ amped91 mentioned in late January that he saw an "application for a demo permit within the last couple weeks". Hopefully we'll see movement on site soon.
