  1. Bit of an update on this: https://www.cleveland.com/community/2021/09/brook-park-announces-forward-innovation-center-at-former-ford-site.html This is the website for interested business tenants: https://forwardinnovationcenter.com/ No word yet on any businesses who are already going to set up camp there (but understand from an earlier post in this thread that it's probably Amazon).
  2. Agree. It’s transformational for the city of Brook Park, sure, but hardly the region. Have to wait and see who the other tenants are, but as for Amazon, I think it’s just another warehouse/distribution center. Hell of a strategic location, though, next to two major interstates and rail. As for air, I don’t see an economically viable way to bridge that location to the airport. You’d be talking about an absolutely massive and disruptive project. That said, got off the highway earlier today overlooking the old Ford plant. Demo already began.
  3. Why? Are they moving from North Olmsted? I’d think they’d announce something like that. Location is prime for some sort of distribution center with air, rail, and highways right there, but that’s my 2 cents.
  4. For what it’s worth, got this in the mail yesterday…wonder who this “major corporation” is. https://imgur.com/a/xBogbJ3
  5. I live in Brook Park. Got a newsletter from the mayor a couple of weeks ago, a blurb about major purchase about to be made soon. Citing NDA, of course, he can't divulge much but said closing is all but a formality at this point and promises to be a "game changer" for the city. Did some Googling and best I could find was the attached blurb from Crain's (I don't have a subscription to it, so, no idea what the body says).
