Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
What, so I'm not allowed to dream? But back to reality. I would like to see the city and the Browns get with the Metroparks and build a Wendy's Park type Bridge where the existing pedestrian bridge by First Energy is, the one that hasn't been maintained in 30 years and replace it. The Lakefront need something now not ten years from now.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
And yet another plan. Whatever happens with the lakefront I would like to see three things, #1 - some scale of a land bridge connecting with the mall, #2 - about 2/3 of the development to remain for public use, #3 - that the stadium remains. I know there was some talk about using the intermodel site for the stadium but that's just too close to Industry, Highway exchanges, and just bad landscape. you don't show case one of your city's best assets by putting it near those things, the aerial images would be horrible and would not do us any favors. But this is all twenty years away, in the meantime I would still build the Rosales Bridge you can have both a bridge and a land bridge. I would use the money from the recent Federal money we will be getting to make up the difference in the funding for it.

Just a couple screenshots from the broadcast on Saturday. Thought it all came across great. Would have been nice to have a little better luck with the weather / pandemic. Maybe we will get it back sometime.

These are the partners that the developer usually works with. I would guess biglots, aldi, and panera are the strong possibles.

Cleveland Metroparks (@clevemetroparks) Tweeted: Progress! This morning, Cleveland Metroparks installed a 250 foot long arch atop the future Wendy Park Bridge. A very complicated & technical piece that required a lot of teamwork. We’re on track for an early summer opening! 👏 https://t.co/cUE76zr13z https://twitter.com/clevemetroparks/status/1381693744571940867?s=20- Cleveland: Random Photos

Here is more info about the IBM Quantum and the Clinic from a new publication named after ME...lol. It actually looks like pretty legit media group I just subscribed! Any lawyers here? Maybe I should sue them... https://www.freethink.com/articles/ibm-quantum-computer- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
In regard to the image I posted above, my biggest hope is to clear that site of anything involving the In-Justice Center. My biggest fear is that it would qualify for historic tax credits and it would never change, for the next 50 years it will be the same. But quickly about the park, I think I see Urban Green Space different than most. The ultimate for me would be as if you dropped 20 acres of the Metroparks and placed it in the center of the City, surrounded by residential. I am always looking for a place in the CBD to do that.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement

I really like this new version. With this and SW, it's going to make a great entrance into and then as you head towards downtown.- Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)

I always liked this from https://theaustin.com/ and their concept for Sherwin Williams. But it could also fit for Quickens or a new Courthouse. I like how it's scaled as it sits up against the river. Notice they also filled in the corner of the current SW Hdqs (where the billboard is). That would make a great RTA station.- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings

Thought this was interesting. Saw this proposed boat slip when looking at the Cleveland Whiskey future site. It's probably nothing more than an idea to make the area look less desolate, but it would be great if it could happen. Right next to Cleveland Whisky and across from Scranton Peninsula. It would have great views and might spur future development across the river.- Cleveland: Flats East Bank
A building permit is listed for the Phase 3 buildings now under construction. 800k for 6700 sq ft on three levels. HSB is the architect. Jade Asian Fusion New interior build-out in an existing cold-dark shell building for a new 3 story restaurant. Scope to include all new partitions, MEP systems, kitchen equipment and finishes. No exterior work to the building shell.- Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
Speaking of the North Point building... The company FM Global which has a regional office in North Olmsted appears to be renovating 33k sq ft at a cost of 2million at the North Point complex. There is a building permit siting it as "internal office renovation". It lists the architect as HOK. Every listing I see for FM points to N.O!msted as the only local office. So I am not sure if they are relocating or expanding. But that's a pretty good dollar amount and sq ft involved. That could be about 150 employees, just a guesstimate.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
