Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
Maybe about 10 years ago there was talk about the Crawford Auto Museum moving back downtown. I wonder if that's what this depicts.

@KJP Have you heard that the hotel component is still in play? Also all that retail scares me. We're just not there yet...

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
Yeah that's what I was thinking but it shows Campbell Sweets which I think is local right?. And none of the other properties has them. It also shows Jan 2021 as when the property would be available, so that probably puts them at a 2021 Summer opening maybe.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
^ I think it was about a year-and-a-half ago Ohio released some funding to demolish most of those buildings at the top of the hill, although I can't find the article right now. They were supposed to come down this passed fall / winter so I'm not sure what the delay is. Hopefully there's no snags in this. Except for that building on the corner.

Cleveland: Rocket Arena (Gund Arena)
If you haven't noticed they have removed the RMFH signage on the West and South side of the building. When that first went up I had never seen letters attached in the way they did it. It looked really bad. Alot of extra framing that was left exposed. So I saw a building permit for that about a month ago (can't find it now) that describes replacing the framing. I hope that's what it is because it did not look good. Here is how it looked

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
The Loopnet posting for the Thunderbird site is now listed as For Lease/Relet. It is usually listed as For Sale. I wonder if that might make it more attractive for commercial tenants as opposed to residential. I am sure they have pitched it to SW, I mean who hasn't. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/Scranton-Peninsula-Cleveland-OH/12944713/

Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
I wonder why SW just wouldn't stay on their current R&D site where they have been for over 100 years. There is enough room to build other buildings on the existing parking lots and green space, when those are finished you move everything a couple hundred foot, then tear the existing buildings down and replace with surface parking or garages.

Cleveland: Downtown: New Police Headquarters
Despite push back from various groups looks like some prelim work is out for bid. RFPs/RFQs: Police Headquarters: Material Testing, Geotechnical, Environmental and General Engineering Services The City of Cleveland is soliciting proposals from pre-qualified ODOT firms for engineering services for new Police Headquarters located west of East 75th St. and Grand Avenue. http://www.city.cleveland.oh.us/node/164337

Metro Cleveland: Road & Highway News
Reconstruction of E 105th from Wade Park to Bratenal should start this month. It will be done in phases, the first should last a year and cover about 1.5 miles. This is much needed, every time I am on that stretch I can't wait to get off. But with all the new and coming development in that area it is going to make a huge difference. Unfortunately the burying of utility lines gets the axe again. Must be crazy expensive. This might be part of the OC project though I am not sure. https://www.cleveland.com/cityhall/2020/01/road-construction-project-on-east-side-artery-to-begin-tuesday-will-disrupt-traffic-for-a-year.html

So the Landmarks agenda shows improvements coming to the Westside Market/Produce building. The render shown is from the year 2000 from the White Admin. Kind of odd. Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I pass by this location sometimes on Woodland Ave where this restaurant will open. Woodland is a pretty cool Street as you pass by Woodland Cemetery of which they are currently restoring the gatehouse. We need more people like the woman who is opening up this up because all her friends told her to open it up in the suburbs. I know I will definitely give it a try once it opens just because she took a chance. https://www.wkyc.com/article/life/food/crispy-chick-cleveland-new-restaurant/95-b4fdcf5a-b8da-42be-9ea6-443c893c4729

There is a lot more of that concept from Tha Austin CO. with a video. The one thing I like is how they use the corner of the current Hdqs as part of the proposal. Still hoping that one day something, anything is built there. https://t.co/CUygiAV12v?amp=1
