Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
What I am not understanding about Jimmys proposed property in Brookpark is that it has the same address 18300 Snow Rd. as the Weston's Forward Innovation Ctr https://forwardinnovationcenter.com/available-spaces/west-property-3/ which has just completed construction of a 364k warehouse that is already half leased. I am not sure why no one ever talks about this project which has plans for even more of a build-out of the 210 acres. Is there room for both? Will this new building come down?

Cleveland: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame News & Discussion
Not sure who is watching the Rock Hall Inductions on ABC right now, but man what an incredible event this is. Never doubt that Cleveland knows how to put on a world class event. Everyone who is anyone came to Cleveland to celebrate music. Its crazy to see them all in one place having a great time. The Rock Hall is something we don't embrace enough. It could be something that drives development on the lake front more than it has. The state especially should recognize this, but Cleveland has too many haters in Columbus who are willing to help with this.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Well let's hope these pitchers are not that successful. Because if they are they will want more money and will be gone in 2 -3 years. And you don't find 100 RBI guys or platinum gold glovers every day. I am convinced the front office is rewarded if they keep the salary below a certain number and still compete.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
The name changed but the owners stay the same and do the same things. It's so hard to be a fan of this team. How do you trade two players who gave 110% and would run through a brick wall for you. And both put up great numbers. Because you are cheap and that will never change.

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Meanwhile the 75 year old Santiago Bernabéu Stadium has wrapped in Spain. Somehow they were able to figure out how to add a retractable roof to it and keep the cost under 2b. Also at the same link at the bottom of the page they rip the design of Jimmys proposed BP parking lot. https://www.archpaper.com/2024/06/real-madrid-cf-bernabeu-stadium-renovation-gmp-l35-arquitectos-ribas-ribas-arquitectos/

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Its funny that Haslem benefited from the Modell Law as the Crew were about to leave for Austin which was pretty much a done deal. But the state and Dewine invoked the Modell Law which in part was effective in keeping the Crew in Columbus and thus allowed Haslem to come in and look like the hero. And though were are talking a much smaller investment for Crew stadium than what the price tag is for an NFL stadium, Haslem had his hand out big time for public subsidies which he received without opposition.

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
i'll bet Haslem is counting the days that he can dump a bunch of money into the Cleveland Mayoral race and the County Commish race. He probably has a couple of Maga Morons ready to go. Just like he did with Vance and Moreno.

Cleveland: Hotel Development
Cleveland needs another 10 - 15 new Hotels between Ohio City and University Circle over the next 5 - 10 years. That may seem aggressive but I think it is very doable. Our current roster of Hotels has some really nice ones but a lot of mediocre ones also. The new ones will eventually replace some of the substandard ones. I dont recall the number but the amount of Air bnb units rented per night in our market was pretty impressive. So there defiantly is a demand for new hotels.

Cleveland: Transit Ideas for the Future
I am fascinated by the new electric buses and trams being developed and put in service these last couple of years. This is the type of transit that is perfect for a market like Cleveland. Clean and efficient transportation, contemporary design that will attract younger riders who flock to these in other parts of the world. London just recently began service on one of their longest bus routes with the Irizar ie tram. https://irizar-emobility.com/en/vehicles/irizar-ie-tram My idea would be to first place these on the Waterfront Line. This would require removing or paving over the tracks on the current ROW. No wires, no poles, less maintenance. But here is the crazy part about it, this Tram can leave the ROW and enter the street grid giving you a loop around the city without building any infrastructure, no tracks, no poles and no wires. After the WFL we can then use these on the Health line and the proposed 25 Connect. Clevelands best chance to continue to move forward is to innovate and embrace new ideas and technology.

Cleveland: East Side Neighborhood Development
This is the kind of forward thinking I was hoping for with Bibb. I am a big proponent of affordable modular housing and follow it closely. To me this is the answer for older dense cities. The drawback is the lack of manufacturing facilities within the region. Here's hoping we become a leader with this effort.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I would be happy with Live Nation for sure. Also I hope Rock and Roll Land is just a working title because that is like Rock-O-Meter bad, or The Creation Museum bad. So if it is Live Nation how about -Live Nation Presents- or something like that. Or just ROCKLAND

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Also an outside chance that the Dream Hotel group is involved as this sounds like something similar to those plans with the masonic temple involved. btw Cleveland is still listed as opening in 2026 on Dreams website. Although I do believe that Shinola would be the flag.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I think Bedrock has a great chance at this. They are a world class developer with proven results. Dan Gilbert is the greatest sports owner/job creator this town has ever seen. Such a difference from that MAGAdope Haslem who not only wants to take the Browns out of Cleveland proper but also uses his money to influence our elections. Which has brought even greater damage. Also I wonder if the entertainment component of this will be COSM which just announced Detroit as their next location.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
Man I am really stoked that this is moving forward. And if it all comes together with the Galleria and the Hotel that would be even better. I am hoping there are plans for some kind of lighting elements at the top so it will no longer be invisible at night. That would make a huge difference in the skyline.
