Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
Anyone know what's going on at 11702 Euclid the old food co-op site across from the speech center. There is a case report at design review listing Vocon as the company which I assume is the architect. Was that the site for CIA student housing maybe?

Is that cupola sculpture anything salvaged from the original structure or is that just a weak attempt at a memorial?

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Well here is a surprise. Sale of Cleveland police HQ part of deal being considered by City Council One would authorize selling to the county the city's building at the Justice Center complex. The building houses the city's police headquarters and the city jail. Cuyahoga County owns other buildings in the complex that house city and county courts and the county jail. According to the ordinance, the fair market value for the city-owned building is $9.25 million. The second ordinance would authorize the city's director of public safety to negotiate to lease space in the Optima 55 Public Square building for 180,000 square feet that would become a new police headquarters. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2017/03/sale_of_cleveland_police_hq_pa.html#incart_2box

Greater Cleveland: Relocation - Need Apartment Location & Recommendation.
So Parma, Ohio's seventh largest city has been taking some shots in this thread, unwarranted in my opinion. Parma is one of the inner ring suburbs I root for. Much like Cleveland it gets a bad rap mostly due to ignorance I suppose. Although probably out of range for this posters needs it is alive and well. And apparently I am not the only one who thinks so. Parma ranked third on list of 'Overlooked Dream Cities' http://www.cleveland.com/parma/index.ssf/2017/03/parma_ranked_third_on_list_of.html

Well this is obviously great news and thnx to mjarboe[/member] for keeping us informed. I only wish there was more urgency to take down those buildings. At least it's finally happening. jrosen[/member] referenced that space across from Wagners in this post. Maybe he will check in with some details. BTW the photos from Wagner's Awning look fantastic. That is one of the nicer conversion I have seen. And it's completely my style. Great work!

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
mjarboe[/member] writes about the new IBM building which we see up thread but also new images of what will be the CWRU Dental school. It went to design review today but the renders are not a part of the agenda. This is the first submission so we will see greater detail to come. It's about what was expected. The day care center that is currently there will face demo and the center will move over to Innova, which is a good get for them. That is going to be a very busy area in a couple of years. http://realestate.cleveland.com/realestate-news/2017/02/ibm_office_building_cwru-cleve.html#incart_river_home
