Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Chick-Fila has has opened at TC next to American Greetings. Don't know if it's temp or not but the hours seem to be the same as the one at the Galleria. Is that one still there, anyone know?

Tribe did what they had to do and took 2 out of 3 on the road. Just need a split and we are good.

Cleveland: Historic Photos
I always loved the text on that photo above , "sweeping away old neighborhoods, churches, shopping districts and homes". I mean damn those neighborhoods and churches and homes, they sound like they were so proud of it. Was that during Al Porters reign? He must have hated those neighborhoods. I often wonder why they didn't go further south with the roadway like where 490 is. I guess they were just following the old Viaduct but that stopped before the neighborhood. Crazy.

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
In these days of blogs and Twitter it's nice to actually read something from a professional writer. So much crap out there from those who have no business putting pen to paper. Very nicely written.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Worst? NO. If this did occur, please tell me what inning and in detail what you saw! YES the Worst. Sorry don't have a time stamp for you and I didn't see the whole game. But number one the TT was in blue/red last night in honor of the tribe. There was one shot where the TT was yellow and another shot had it in purple, clearly not live. If you follow @towerlightscle they even talked about it. But the best shot coming out of commercial was a supposed shot in downtown looking across Ontario at the SW building with the old Sherwin Williams Banner (The one before the current Lebron banner) with the Casino in the background and the old HorseShoe Caino signage. Is it too much to ask to have a remote video guy walking around the ballpark for some live shots. Go tribe.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Man Roberto Perez was all over that game tonight. Hopefully Kluber is feeling OK for tomorrow. Also TBS is the worst. I always look forward to live shots of the city during the game, but did anyone notice they gave us 'b-roll' that was at least 3 years old. Shots of the Horseshoe Casino and the old Sherwin Williamsm banner was hilarious.

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
Your both right, I didn't think that was a done deal.

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
The Millennia Company has had been courted hard for the office space at NuCLEus. They have stated in the past a move to downtown is in the future and is looking for about 30k sq ft. Originally wanting to own a current building as part of a mixed use plan, that type of building is going away fast. And the same type of connection that was there for AG with its move to Crocker is there between Millennia and Stark. Edit: this was the case earlier in the summer.

Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
Totally disagree with you. Good example of leaving it until a new use is found is the old Euclid Tavern sign. It was left intact for years and then rehabbed when it was reopened. Well of course you do... Besides Euclid Tavern is a bad example as it sits in a neighborhood area, not in the middle of a CBD in a major city. It's not a good look to have a closed storefront that hasn't been maintained in years with a rotted sign wasting away. I am sure the neighboring businesses would agree.

Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
It always amazes me how old building signage, in this case the Goldfish sign is allowed to remain years and sometimes decades after something closes. Remember the old Shoe Outlet sign on the JHB building that was there for years, or the Bridal Shop sign that was on the Stanley building decades after it closed. Drives me nuts. I don't know how a council person can pass those by over the years with out raising hell with someone. Such a bad look. It just screams dilapidated and despair.

Cleveland: Campus District
Really like the way it kind of 'looms' over the street. Very nice. Now we just need something on that PHS parking lot and we're in business.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Yes it is my hope a park remains in the plans. The recent study for stabilization showed that as a park. Hopefully Snavely recognises that potential and can work around it.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Pieced together something called Old River Brewing Co. llc which was registered with the state in June. Seems to be headed for the old Watermark space at 1250 Old River Rd. The working address is given as 1285 Old River Rd. which is Samsel Supply. A permit with the city shows 35k in alteration work, which isn't that much but that's the only permit I could find.

Cleveland: Edgewater Park
Work has begun on a revised Edgewater Beach House. Although still at 14k sq ft the second floor is no longer enclosed in glass, which to me is disappointing. That could have been a great year round event space. But the scope of the 4.3 mil dollar project now includes improvement to the surrounding Parking lot, trails etc. They hope to have it complete for summer 17. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2016/09/cleveland_metroparks_begins_wo.html#incart_river_home

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Browns color rush uni's which they won't wear for their Thursday night game with the Ratbirds in Baltimore because the NFL decided they would clash too much with the all purple of the ravens. But isn't that the point of the color rush games? Both teams should wear them right? ...right.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Looking at the updated FEB site plan on their website indicates they have the Crop spaces as 'Executed Lease/Coming Soon'. They only show one space that is still available next to Magnolia. So apparently something should be announced regarding the Crop space.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
A commercial building permit issued to Bedrock Real Estate for Tower City Parking Garage with Albert Higley as the general contractor could be the start of something, maybe. It's probably just something small though. But it has been sooo sloowww with nothing happening I am looking for something, anything, anywhere regarding new developments. https://ca.permitcleveland.org/Public/Cap/CapDetail.aspx?Module=BuildingHousing&TabName=BuildingHousing&capID1=16BHO&capID2=00000&capID3=14458&agencyCode=COC&IsToShowInspection=
