  3. Bialosky + Partners awarded Campus Center project Downtown Fifteen projects in fifteen years – We are proud to be working once again with Tri-C! Bialosky + Partners Architects was recently awarded the Metro Campus Center project, sited on E. 30th in downtown Cleveland, which will transform the existing 90,000 sf midcentury brutalist concrete building into one that is inspiring and transparent, connected to its community and engages its inhabitants. Working closely with our consultants, Tri-C and stakeholders, we are excited to renew this building as the heart of campus, where students and faculty can gather and feel a sense of community. http://www.bialosky.com/blog/2015/09/21/awarded-campus-center/

I am wondering if a good portion of that truck traffic will go away once the innerbelt project is complete. Seems a lot of those trucks are headed that way. Also on the eastside I do notice more trucks heading to the flats via the 'newer' E 9 th st. extention. And it will probably be used more once the Ontario/Orange realignment and the Eastbound bridge are complete.
  9. While we in America struggle with an antiquated transportation system as we rely on 20 year old diesel busses, 30 year old commuter trains and overspend on incredible overpriced streetcar projects, places such as Ankara, Turkey look for other ways to move people. Will it ever happen here?

  11. No wonder McCown never finishes a season, the guy plays like a linebacker. Anderson Varejao thinks he plays careless... Also for the love of Boog Powell never wear those orange pants again, those are definitely cringe worthy.

  19. Confirmed. Halle Bros. Building will be home to ninth Yours Truly Restaurant location September 05, 2015 at 11:47 AM CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Yours Truly Restaurants, a locally based group of family-style eateries, will open another location this spring - this one set in what was once one of Cleveland's retail gems. A 130-seat, 4800 square foot Yours Truly restaurant will occupy the east end of the historic Halle Brothers Company building at 1228 Euclid Avenue, at East 12th Street in Playhouse Square. The restaurant group is developing their latest restaurant in partnership with building operators, K&D Group based in Willoughby. Larry Shibley, chairman of Yours Truly, says that his family's newest location will maintain some traditions, and introduce other new ones. "I've always had an interest in historic commercial buildings," Shibley says. "The other hat I wear is as an historic restorationist. Generally, I'm much more comfortable going into an older, existing structure than into a new strip center." Now in its 34th year, Yours Truly's second restaurant, in Chagrin Falls, was a major restoration - "and the next store after that, in Hudson, was an old tire store, and we kept some of that building's old architectural features," Shibley explains. http://www.cleveland.com/dining/index.ssf/2015/09/halle_bros_building_will_be_ho.html#incart_river
