Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Numerous reports suggest that Baron Davis is attempting an NBA comeback and is in discussion with the Cavaliers and the Clippers. I'll take that.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Yep after realizing what the Browns consider to be a major change in the logo is so underwhelming, my hope for any dramatic changes to the uni has all but gone out the window. Prediction, the number of ppl lined up for new gear after the uniform unveiling... that would be 'none' . Oh what could have been.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
The weather has been brutal in April for the Tribe the last couple of years. On top of that their home schedule in April has been as many as 15 dates, just killing attendance. Should be better this year with only 9 home games in April and a later start date. Idk if the schedule just falls that way or somebody got smart.

Cleveland: Edgewater Park
Yeah I get that and I do like that style, but I can also see something more in line with one of the Flats lift bridges in the open position. A lot of exposed steel that would look awesome all lit up. I know MetroParks is planning a 'roundabout' somewhere near the entrance to Edgewater. They might have something planned, idk. Also I could see an entrance like this by the e9th st. pier to 'Voinovich Park'. Just a quick idea

Cleveland: Edgewater Park
^Why is it for sale? :-D Actually I have always thought about more of a 'grand entrance' for edgewater, something that could be seen from the road as you pass. Maybe not this style but I like the scale.

Cleveland: Campus District
So I guess I will put this here but did anybody know they are holding concerts at Trinity Cathedral thru 2015. I mean as a regular music venue with mainstream bookings. It would be awesome to see a concert there, the sound would have to be unique for sure. Check out some of the acts coming up and here is a link that tells more about it. http://www.ticketweb.com/snl/VenueListings.action?venueId=411085&pl= http://trinitycleveland.org/blog/2014/events/red-wanting-blue-to-kick-off-cathedral-concerts-series-december-5/

Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
Well this most likely wouldn't happen until after the RNC but improvements to the Q which is used for over 300 dates a year is needed. Hopefully the financing comes together like it did for the Browns. But I like the idea of a new all glass look for the exterior. Would look cool especially with nuCleus next door. Cleveland Cavaliers suggest 50-50 split with Cuyahoga County for costly Quicken Loans Arena renovations Andrew J. Tobias, Northeast Ohio Media Group CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have quietly suggested evenly splitting with Cuyahoga County the cost of a multimillion-dollar overhaul of the exterior of Quicken Loans Arena as part of a project to increase the building's square footage, Northeast Ohio Media Group has learned. The team's plan would expand the building's footprint, creating more public space inside -- and additional opportunities to sell concessions and other items -- and giving the concrete building a glass exterior, according to sources with knowledge of of the team's plan. http://www.cleveland.com/cuyahoga-county/index.ssf/2015/02/the_cleveland_cavaliers_suggest_50-50_split_with_cuyahoga_county_for_costly_quicken_loans_arena_reno.html

Tribe made a minor adjustment to their color blue going with a darker shade. Yep no countdown date, no presser, no promise of a rebranding that didn't happen just business as usual...read about it and see examples. http://wahoosonfirst.com/2015/02/25/cleveland-indians-update-color-scheme/

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Well I hate to pile on but what choice do I have. That press release is hi-larious, 'Modern Cleveland' sounds like it was written in 1965. I mean where's my flying car...This team continues to market itself to the 70 and older crowd. (Sigh)The speculation was fun while it lasted, although deep down I knew nothing would change. Look for the same level of improvement to the uniforms and the roster for that matter. Go Cavs!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Those designs have been around for awhile. I posted a version of it back in Sept. http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,6443.msg726114.html#msg726114 I like the latest version of it though. Would be happy with the new orange and the brown facemask. Looking forward to the new uni's. As for the logo, instead of the silhouette of the helmut I would like to see a frontal version with helmut looking down. Whatever it turns out to be, as I have said before it won't go far enough for me.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
^Yes I know and that's a great start. Some of these new and future investments in the area can be attributed to that. I was referring to some of the ancillary roads in and around those properties. Busted sidewalks and curbs, old street lamps, non compliant crosswalks...That peninsula could be next for new and refurbished residential.
