Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
I have been skeptical of this project and this developer for a couple of years now. Especially when it was awarded the tmud money. Project start early 2023, ok we shall see but i'm not holding my breath. In the meantime projects just as worthy and important as this one like Bridgeworks and Erieview are trying to resubmit to tmud. Here is a good bet that BW breaks ground before 925.

Cleveland: Opportunity Corridor Boulevard
Video from Landmarks. Really great history/presentation about the Sidaway bridge. I can imagine this fully renovayed to be part of a trail system sparking development in those two neighborehoods. Seeing this lit up at night would be dramatic. To me this would warrant some aarpa money. Perspectus did a nice job. https://youtu.be/-Ok5lFM6zbs?t=6624

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
Saw this video of a family from out of town just walking thru downtown and having a great time. Someone posted an article recently that included Cleveland as having a dead downtown. I saw that article last week and didn't post it because it's a load of crap. You can include just about every city in that poll. Yes it's been a tough recovery but we will be fine. It's clickbate to include Cleveland in a poll, the media loves to come after us. You think NY or Philly gives an f about what ppl think about them. Let's not be so sensitive. Anyway watch the whole video.

Cleveland: Slavic Village: Development and News
https://www.bizjournals.com/cleveland/news/2022/08/16/reserve-premier-buys-plot-opportunity-corridor.html More manufacturing development is targeting Cleveland's Opportunity Corridor as the city's government aims to leverage the area in order to attract more business to the region. Last week, Reserve Premier LLC closed on its acquisition of a group of buildings on the corner of Bragg Road and East 55th Street in Cleveland's North Broadway Neighborhood. The developers plan to convert the plot into a manufacturing, distribution and food-processing operation. Reserve Ventures and Premier Development Partners, an Independence, Ohio based construction and commercial real estate company, have partnered on the project. "We have partnered with our close friends, Spencer Pisczak and Kevin Callahan from Premier Development, to build 182,000 square feet of distribution space.

Looks like work has started on the Carnegie Ballroom. Anything will be an improvement but I hate that corner and that BP station with a passion. Looks like it's never going away.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
As before I am hoping that Erieview is chosen this time. I just feel it is as transformative as the program suggests. Also Bridgworks can have that same impact for OC, that would be my ssecond choice. The initial round for tmud could have went better, The 40mil for one project just was not a wise choice. The program would have been better if it would have funded more projects with that 40mil. And please I wish no money for NoValor Acres. Brecksville has money and also has zero diversity. If you want public funds from everyone you have to prove your project will be more than just a lifestyle center for the people of Brecksville.
