It's an interesting moment that was captured - I think the final condition will be cleaner. Funny how the reflection of Hilton 1.0 aligns with the current top of the corner curtain wall from that perspective. One the crane (and its reflection) are gone, the curtain wall is finished and the currently-white "portal" on High Street is wrapped in darker metal panels, it should be less busy.

Definitely not sure, but the graphics permit and alteration permits were all tied to the 3985 Gramercy St address of the former Forever 21 storefront per the City of Columbus permit portal.

Per the approved graphics permit for the signage, it will be an Amazon Style store.

Yes. Per the approved Downtown Commission application, the top of the tower will have lighting on the tops of the vertical mullions as well as some illuminated Hilton signage. There will be more street-level lighting elements as well, at the entrance canopy and along High Street.

It's partly an outdated rendering and partly the difference in perspective. In the final version, the crown slopes up to be taller at the south end, so those concrete columns grow as well.

The precast panels will get an acid wash once they're all in place as part of the completion of that scope, which should help even out the tone.

Current anticipated top-out date is right around Christmas.

The quantity of rain and threats of rain this month has really hampered progress on the concrete pours. But we'll see the final 100' crane jump in just a couple weeks. The first curtainwall panels were just set, along with the start of metal panels on the east face of the tower (above the ballrooms).

There is one story below High Street, and 27 occupied floors above (skipping Level 13, the rooftop bar will be Level 28), plus a mechanical penthouse on Level 29. Level 17 was poured last week and slab prep for Level 18 is underway. The big milestone over the weekend was the installation of the escalators along High Street, which clears the way for curtainwall installation commencement and further precast install. Should be more interesting progress over the next few months.

They're currently doing most of the precast work as second shift. I assume that's due to the compressed site and lack of laydown area plus freeing up the tower crane for other trades during the day.

Should be on the pace of about a floor every week on the tower, but the floor-to-floor height isn't nearly as great as the lower levels, so it doesn't look as drastic.

Yep, there'll be one more jump to get the tower crane to the final height. The timing of that is related to the completion of the pours for the floors that it needs to be tied into.
