  1. Not sure it is fair yet to assess whether the final product will look good or look like the renderings. Still have to finish construction, painting & graphics, FFE, & people to make it look like the rendering. Plus, a cloudy sky in the background always makes the viewer subconsciously think it looks worse. If the update photos had been taken on a sunny day with blue skies, we may not think anything of it.
  2. Pros: Convenient for SOME suburbanites to get to the stadium. Convenient for people travelling into town for the game from the airport. Close to the practice facility & offices. you can use the land downtown to better connect to the lake (assuming it would actually get done and not just be an idea). Easiest way to get a dome. Cons: This sucks for downtown businesses on Sundays during the season. That location is ugly af. Would be super embarrassing to see aerial shots during broadcasts. I really don't want a nice glass stadium in a sea of parking.
  3. Dang, finally. Now we'll have another 8 years of seeing Sherwin Williams at half-finished lol
  4. Section 526, row 15? Don't know who you are, but we must've been sitting in the same row lol
  5. Wow, thank you so much for sharing this! I had no clue you could see Cleveland from any point in Canada. So awesome
  6. It'd really like to see something along E. 14th to the corner of prospect. Doesn't have to be anything tall (although that would be cool). Something to liven up that neighborhood adjacent to Playhouse Square. Feels like some good investment opportunities for PHS.
  7. More testing tonight. Figured I'd post again since they have colors on the marquees this time around and are testing the Ohio Theater as well.
  8. Looks like they're testing Connor Palace tonight
  9. Marquee lights on at the State Theater. Hard to believe in the daytime, with how gold they are, that they can change colors so much at night with the lights. The photo doesn't do it justice, it looks very good.
  10. Connor Palace Marquee from above. The other marquees on Euclid still waiting their turn.
  11. Here is a video posted on Instagram by Snavely Building Company, the general contractor for the Welleon. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CsrI-P0sTYx/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  12. Haha yes, waiting for their valet service among all the construction equipment
  13. Ohio, State, and Connor Palace coming along nicely. Some photos with people leaving the theaters. Can't wait to see the final product.
