Brecksville: Valor Acres Development
Technically, OC is not a freeway. It probably should have been IMO.

Brecksville: Valor Acres Development
So much property available in Cleveland, yet SHW R &D went to Brecksville, Jimmy World likely going to Brook Park and jail going to Garfield Heights. 🤨

^ I believe the casino has to remain at or close to its current location.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Different situation since that is probably the only smokestack in Columbus.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
A road course would be more interesting than laps on the Burke runways/taxiways. I remember watching it on TV several years ago when about half of the cars crashed on the first turn at the start of the race. That might have been the last one at Burke.

Cleveland: I-X Center
Well, if it is workable and with the IX center going away, perhaps it might make sense to revise the land bridge plan to include extending Huntington CC under it to allow for more exhibition space. Windows could be placed on the east and west sides of the extended space.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Remember all the development that was supposed to happen around the Richfield Coliseum? How did that turn out?

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
What we actually get may never match the rendering. It might just be a dome surrounded by a huge parking lot.

Cleveland: I-X Center
IIRC the Browns practiced there a few times a long time ago.

Cleveland: I-X Center
If the CC is expanded north, would there be enough clearance for the rail traffic to pass underneath? I'm guessing the answer is no.

Cleveland: I-X Center
Well, whether it's 25 or 250, they won't need all that space for parking. Maybe it could be used for airport operations or a hotel or something else.

Cleveland: I-X Center
I wonder what will happen with the huge parking lot surrounding the IX Center. They won't need all that space for 25 or so employees.

Cleveland: I-X Center
Even if Jimmy World has the ability to steal events from the IX Center, it wouldn't be possible during the football season.

Cleveland: I-X Center
Thanks, Ken. So I guess my idea wouldn't add that much space.

Cleveland: I-X Center
I assume the 225K of exhibition space at Huntington does not include the grand ballroom. If the grand ballroom could be converted to exhibition space, that might allow Huntington to handle bigger shows currently using the IX Center. There is another ballroom in the Global Center, albeit a smaller one.

^ Maybe they don't want all the shoreway traffic being funneled onto Lakeside.

Cleveland: Suburban Crime & Safety Discussion
And Garfield Heights Home Days was discontinued a few years earlier for the same reason. I've noticed that the few church festivals that remain have a heavy security presence and rules restricting juveniles not accompanied by an adult.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I was at the Science Center once, shortly after it opened. I have been to several other science centers around the country and was expecting something similar, but I was a bit disappointed. At the time, it seemed like many of the exhibits required pressing a button to watch a video on a screen. I hope it has changed since then.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
I thought the west side of D was capable of handling larger aircraft. I wonder if United or one of the other airlines could move there once the new terminal is open? It would require a walkway from the terminal and some gate modifications, but it seems like it would be less costly than building a new concourse.
