Cleveland WNBA Bid
There used to be an arena football team that played there, but apparently, the team or the league has folded.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Agreed. I don't understand why it is necessary to wait for passenger numbers to reach a certain level before embarking on phase 1. It should have been started years ago. Other peer cities have recently opened new airport facilities or will be soon. Pittsburgh has embarked on modernization of their airport which is only about 30 years old. But at CLE we wait...and wait...

Cleveland: Random Development and News
There should be more activity there once the new police HQ and the former Plain Dealer building are filled. Has Cross Country moved into their new HQ?

Cleveland: Hotel Development
It would be really nice to see a newly constructed hotel rather than converting a vacant office building.

Cleveland WNBA Bid
Interest in the WNBA has increased due to the media buzz about Caitlin Clark, but I do wonder if it will be sustained.

Cleveland: Downtown: Ten60 Bolivar Apartments
Hopefully something tall enough to be visible from the home plate camera at Progressive Field. 🙂

Urban Ohio "Picture Of The Day"
So much fine detail in many of the old buildings. It would cost a small fortune (or large fortune?) to build something like that now.

Cleveland WNBA Bid
Hey, how about bringing the Cleveland Crunch indoor soccer team back downtown too. I think they are playing at a rec center on the west side currently.

Cleveland WNBA Bid
Is the WNBA popularity due to Caitlin Clark? I wonder if it will be sustained or is it just temporary?

Cleveland WNBA Bid
With an NHL team already in Columbus, I doubt they would consider Cleveland for an expansion team.

Cleveland WNBA Bid
What happened to the WNBA Cleveland Rockers, did they fold or did they move elsewhere?

Cleveland: Downtown: Ten60 Bolivar Apartments
It seems like we hear that quite often about various potential developments. But weeks, months and years go by and still nothing.

Cleveland: Downtown: Ten60 Bolivar Apartments
I thought the city had some regulation in place which prevented buildings from being razed for surface parking.

And the Browns are playing the Steelers here on Thursday night.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
There are some huge parking craters on the West Bank now. It would be nice to see some or all of then go away.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Right, it can't be keep open to the public 24/7. A shame we have to worry about such things, but it is what it is. I have mentioned previously that I'd like to see a trolley museum somewhere downtown. Perhaps this might be a location for it. They could have a few old working trolley cars running across the lower level for visitors to ride.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Now that SHW is nearly completed, the city needs to get cracking on development of those surrounding parcels on W 6th and St Clair.

Correct, but it was cheaper to stay in the suburbs. And what's happening with Rocket Mortgage? They were planning to move to a new building, but we haven't heard anything about it in a while.- Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Good ole, Dolan. Anything for a buck. Or in this case, 300.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
I'm not quite sure what @GISguy means by "no neighborhood" in Garfield Heights. I am a former GH resident so I am familiar with the area. Homes, businesses and a grocery store are very close to that property. Those GH officials must be happy about 1,000 good paying jobs coming to their city. By the way, the view from the GH site it quite spectacular, but I doubt the inmates will be able to enjoy it, or see it.- Cleveland: Campus District
And let's not forget the vacant land along the opportunity corridor.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
It would be nice if 668 could do something to improve the appearance from the side, maybe add some kind of roof screen. - Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
