Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I parked at Tower City a few times when Jacobs Field opened in 1994. I believe special event parking was $4 then.

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
Well, it is a scenic railway, so 25 mph is fine. Although the section through the industrial valley may not be very scenic.

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
Well, I thought the FTA funding was just for the work done on Euclid Avenue for the Euclid Corridor aka HealthLine. I didn't think there was any work done at Public Square. And apparently there was no FTA funding for the Public Square renovation which occurred in 2015-16 based on this article: https://www.cleveland.com/architecture/2015/06/public_square_renovation_proje.html And then there is this: https://fox8.com/news/cleveland-rta-moves-forward-with-plans-to-keep-public-square-closed-to-buses/

How long can FTA hold the city hostage for the bus lane requirement?

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I remember it well. Cleveland seemed to be on the verge of a renaissance in the 90s - Tower City, Galleria, Jacobs Field, Gund Arena, Convocation Center, Key Tower, Rock Hall, Science Center, Waterfront Line, new hotels, the Flats were hopping (it was the 2nd biggest visitor attraction in the state after Cedar Point), Playhouse Square was coming back to life, Continental hub was growing at Hopkins. Yes, that was a pretty good era for Cleveland, well, except for the loss of the Browns for 3 seasons. Although it did result in a new football stadium.

Maybe they should just let us design it. 😀

If they bury the tracks, they might as well bury the shoreway too. But it won't happen. Way too expensive. Pedestrian bridge over the tracks and shoreway is the most practical option.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Isn't there enough affordable housing in the city already? Perhaps it's time to start raising the bar. Cleveland is one of the poorest cities in the country and has been for quite a while. How does that change? Maybe the city needs to also focus on attracting more affluent residents to address the imbalance.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I suppose they could still do an air show downtown, but it would have to be modified without any ground activities. Aircraft would have takeoff/land at CLE (I think the Tbirds are already doing that).

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
Well, they would just have to use our primary airport which is what they have to do when flying to any other city.

I love how renderings always show so much greenery. And it certainly won't look like that from November-April. Is that eastern leg of the "land bridge" really necessary?

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Actually, there is more traffic now because it is mostly locals using CLE. In 2000, when Hopkins was a Continental hub, a good percentage of people were just flying through CLE.
