As long as PS remains a hub for RTA, I don't think we can expect much more. Perhaps at some point in the future, Superior can be closed to create a unified square which would make it a bit more park-like, kind of a mini version of Boston Common. But that won't happen as long as the FTA is preventing the city from doing so.

I believe the first rib cook-off was on the mall and admission was free and I don't think there was any music. In subsequent years, they added rock bands and it became a rib-n-rock event with an admission fee. Then, several other communities got on the bandwagon and started doing rib-n-rock events.

Good grief. I can't believe we're having a debate about whether a smokestack stays or goes. There are lots of other smokestacks in Cleveland that will still be around.

There are plenty of smokestacks in Cleveland. Losing one will not be a big deal, especially one so close to downtown.

Many people look forward to attending these events during the summer. And they do generate lots of revenue for the church or organization. It would be a shame to cancel them due to unruly brats. Unfortunately, many have already been canceled in recent years for this reason.
