Cleveland: Historic Photos
Dang, those buildings look rather dirty, except for Hotel Cleveland which had just been recently built.

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
That will look much nicer on a sunny day.

And Cleveland was the 5th largest city in the US at the time.

Cleveland: Population Trends
Easier said than done. It will require a plan. Building suburban-style homes haphazardly on vacant lots is not the solution.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Maybe that was intentional due to the site's proximity to the river.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
Money talks.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Events like those are once in a blue moon, assuming they would even come to Cleveland, especially the last two.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
But wait, there will be more changes at the ballpark after this season, right? What will be happening besides replacing the rest of the green seats?

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Clock needed more for batters than pitchers. I was more annoyed with batters stepping out after every pitch to take practice swings and adjust everything on their body.

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
I have mixed feelings. Euclid is so tight now with the bus lanes. The setback allows more space in front of the building. But it does look a little awkward. Hopefully 668 can do something with that ugly side.

Cleveland: Hotel Development
Seems like they could expand the 900' zone a bit.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
Maybe this will result in Cliffs building that new skyline changing HQ.

But he won't come back to the Guardians.

Cleveland pro sports teams are definitely cursed. As for the 2016 Cavs, I'm convinced there was some divine intervention there.

Thanks @Geowizical. Those shots will look better once that skyline changing hotel/residential development is completed.

The former nuCLEus site would be a great location for a skyline changing hotel/residential development.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
A Super Bowl is bigger than those. It's not just the game but all the activities in the week prior to Super Bowl Sunday. I'm not sure too many out-of-town folks would be excited about spending a week in Cleveland in mid-February. And then there is the aforementioned hotel situation.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I would prefer seeing Cleveland playing in a Super Bowl rather than Cleveland hosting a Super Bowl.

Doesn't IKEA prefer building their stores on virgin land?- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
They could move the correctional facility elsewhere and open up that space for parking or ballpark village.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Yes, but it is probably less urgent without a stadium. I would think the shoreway reconfiguration plan needs to be determined before proceeding with a land bridge. That section of E 9th is not very pedestrian friendly. I assume that's why you say it's an embarrassment. Perhaps closing the westbound entrance to the shoreway and the eastbound exit to E 9th would help.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
What about the site by Gordon Park where the old CEI/First Energy plant was razed. Is that a possibility? It's not downtown, but at least it's in Cleveland.- Suburban Cleveland: Development and News
