  3. There is no guarantee that would have happened if they stayed in Cleveland. Our sports teams seem to be cursed.
  4. Bill Belichick didn't looks too good during his tenure with the Browns, but he turned out to be one of the most successful coaches of all time. Having talent on the field makes a difference.
  5. When I attended a Cavs game last season, I think it was $60 at that lot.
  6. ^ Perhaps it is because keeping those lots for parking is quite lucrative for whomever owns them.
  7. ^ That would be a good location, right next to the federal courthouse. I still think the jail should be built near the post office, not in Garfield Hrs.
  8. Agreed. Still a few more holes that need to be filled.
  9. Where are those other cities getting the $$$ to build new courthouses?
  10. I never cared for revolving doors. I was always afraid I'd get stuck in there.
  11. The area around the Powerhouse was really hopping years ago when it contained the brewery, clubs, eateries, etc. Now that it is an aquarium, that part of the West Bank is a dead zone. It's nice to have an aquarium downtown, but I wish it would have been at another location. Rather that creating a new concert venue, I would rather see Jacobs Pavillon rebuilt as a year-round facility - opened up when weather is nice, enclosed when weather is not so nice. As it is now, it does not seem to be utilized often enough to justify its prime location on the river.
  12. No. There are enough concert venues downtown already, many of them are underutilized. And the Rock Hall expansion is supposed to have a concert venue.
  13. Nautica Entertainment seeks to demolish old industrial buildings to make way for indoor concert venue. https://www.cleveland.com/realestate-news/2023/11/nautica-entertainment-seeks-to-demolish-old-indust.rial-buildings-to-make-way-for-indoor-concert-venue.html
  14. I don't like it. Six Flags seems to be the Walmart of amusement parks.
  15. Cedar Fair Entertainment, the owner of Cedar Point and several other amusement parks in North America, is reportedly close to a deal that would merge them with Six Flags. https://www.wkyc.com/article/entertainment/places/cedar-point/reports-cedar-fair-near-merger-deal-six-flags/95-ea6d734f-463a-4f17-b390-4ae809032e04
  16. I don't think there has been one since Richard Jacobs departed. Maybe, Dan Gilbert, but I think Detroit is his top priority,
  17. It might look better without the jail buildings surrounding it. And maybe it could be re-clad to look a little less brutal.
  18. Lighting would be nice, but would that work during the day? Maybe they could hang banners on the wall similar to what is done on the SHW wall. That way, the banners could be changed periodically instead of having a depiction of a migraine on the wall for several years.
  19. I suppose the campus proposal is intended to blend in with the existing warehouse district buildings, which would be nice. However, I wonder if it could be done without demolishing the justice center tower? Yeah, it's not the prettiest building downtown, but maybe it could be re-clad with a less brutal facade and re-purposed for law offices.
  20. Phase 1 renovations are needed regardless of passenger numbers, and should have been done years ago.

Welp, this season isn't starting off very well.
  22. If they have to take it down to the studs, why can't they put a roof on it?
  23. ^ I would suggest doing a Google search.
  24. Gotta take a ferry to the stadium
  25. Perhaps the new CEO will open the shack to the public.
