And that includes 2 lbs of hair.
  2. Agreed. Let's hope a few more will soon be added.
  3. Agreed! I had mentioned that a while back. It would also be nice to see a rendering of the Burke site without the airport. IMO either the stadium or the airport needs to go away.
  4. One thing we need to keep in mind is the lakefront can be quite brutal for several months from late fall until early spring so I'm wondering how many folks will be veturing down there during that timeframe. And no roof on the stadium means no additional events there. Whereas the riverfront is likely to see activity year-round.
  5. Northpoint housing - that was the old Lake Erie Motel.
  6. Mr. Buffett sure got a lot of mileage out of a couple hit songs. https://www.foodrepublic.com/1383959/margaritaville-cheeseburger-in-paradise-jimmy-buffet-death/
  7. Perhaps the poster is referring to the type of restaurant. Seems like the younger folks prefer fast-casual eateries nowadays.
  8. Such a great view from there. I hope the inmates enjoy it.
  9. Not sure they need the east section of the Y. I assume the transportation center can be a accessed from the bridge.
  10. I thought the land bridge was a good idea at first, but now I'm not so sure, especially after seeing this latest iteration. If the shoreway is going to be converted to a boulevard and all the ramps and marginal roads are going to be eliminated, maybe they should forget about the land bridge and just reactivate that old pedestrian bridge. Or if that is not feasible, build a modest pedestrian bridge.
  11. It would be nice to see the shoreway continue along the rail tracks and connect with the west shoreway at Edgewater Park.
  12. And those lake views will look much better on a sunny day.
  13. Good idea! It would allow for the display of players past and present.
  14. That looks good, of course it places the stadium on the post office site, so it would require building a new post office somewhere else.
  15. Oh! I was wondering how they got the rest of it up so quickly.
  16. Have they done "topping off" yet?
  17. Isn't there an existing facility that could be used at least initially, such as Byers Field, Finnie Stadium, etc?
  18. How did your friend like The Orbit? Some of the reviews are not so good. Seemed a bit odd to convert that building to a hotel.
  19. So did I.

  21. Not sure what it is with our pro sports teams. If it wasn't for bad luck they'd have no luck at all.
  22. So once all the construction is completed, our sewer bills will be reduced, right?
  23. OIC
  24. I haven't been there in a long time. I used to go to Rocky's quite a bit in the 80s/early 90s. Shula's is closed. The new eatery in that space is The Sanctuary.
  25. Here is a little more info on Ms. Petz. https://urnow.richmond.edu/features/article/-/21408/alums-colorful-career-leads-to-leadership-role-at-sherwin-williams.html?utm_source=www&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=features-story
