Cleveland: Which Project Will Be Next and Why
Well, Rock Hall expansion is supposed to get started next month, so that will be my prediction. Some of the sites listed are shovel ready, such as nuCLEus and the former Spaghetti House lot, others are not. Funding needs to be determined for jail, courthouse, CSU arena, Browns stadium and others, so those won't be happening anytime soon. I am hoping for something to happen soon at the nuCLEus site. it sure would be nice to eliminate another huge parking crater in the CBD (which will be even larger once the rickety parking garage is demolished). And we have been waiting a long, long time for something to happen there.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Well, the Cavs are definitely in need of some toughness. And someone with postseason experience.

^ I wonder if that will be addressed during Progressive Field renovations?

I only caught a couple minutes of the Browns game on TV. Did the network have any good shots of SHW and the rest of the skyline?

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
^ Agreed. That's why I favor the area south of Tower City near the post office. It's a dead zone and will never see any significant development. Land acquisition will be easier. It seems like the perfect place for a facility that will only be used a dozen or so times per year.

Let's hope, but it seems like the Tower City/Riverview project is a higher priority for Gilbert/Bedrock.

Would that area be part of the proposed ballpark village?

Cleveland: Random Development and News
I'm not sure. I was viewing from my computer at work as I usually do (don't tell my boss). Maybe something got updated on the network.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Well, it looks like it was updated. I now see the redesigned Public Square, Hilton and FEB. But no Beacon or Lumen.

I would think SHW would not want a bunch of hi-rises on those parcels blocking views from their tower. That's probably why the are doing a short shack on the Jacob's lot.

Turn out the lights, the party's over.

Let's hope those parcels surrounding SHW will be developed relatively soon. Low rise buildings would be OK there.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I was hoping SHW would have gone taller. Terminal Tower is already overshadowed by Key Tower. And 200 Public Square, even though a bit shorter, overshadows Terminal Tower due to its massive bulk.

WKYC did a segment on Five Iron during their 7 pm newscast last night. Perhaps that will drum up some business for them.

I assume it is one of the big boys, preferably Hard Rock.

A sticky tracker will most likely lead them to an abandoned vehicle, the perpetrators will be long gone.- Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
Justified, unfortunately, until a better method is found. The number of fleeing vehicles would increase dramatically if they know they will not be pursued once they get into Cleveland. And by the way, Innocent people have been injured and killed even when they are not being pursued. I did ask a suburban police officer about using drones to pursue fleeing vehicles, but I was told they are not fast enough.- Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs

How about Lumen 2 on top of Cowell & Hubbard building?- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
It could have been a big 5 if the original nuCLEus was built. Oh well. Maybe a tall tower will eventually be built there.- Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Maybe the problem with downtown Cleveland is that it is too spread out with too many gaps in between. Once City Club and Centennial are completed, and hopefully a few other new developments are added to the mix, that should create more pedestrian traffic.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Yes, go over to the Playhouse Square thread. There are some photos showing projection on the garage wall.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I wish that parking garage wasn't there, but oh well.- Cleveland Browns Discussion
