Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
The hope was to get started on phase 1 of CLE master plan when passenger numbers reached 10M, which was estimated to be in 2025 or 2026. Since it look like that will happen sooner, I wonder if phase 1 can get started sooner? I thought the FAA had already approved the plan. Is that not the case?

Pretty sad if visitors to Cleveland are experiencing that.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
There is already parking underground. And there is a parking garage across the street. Good grief! Hopefully one of the design review committees can put the kibosh on that idea.

Atlanta replaces their football and baseball stadiums about every 25 years. Dang.

I guess I'm OK with the redesigned entrance. It would be nice to see a rendering of the St. Clair side with the new parking area.

Maybe purple is the underground parking.

Most of the Convention Center acreage is underground. I'm not sure it is appropriate to include with the others. It looks like the Guardians/Progressive Field will draw more than 1.3M this year.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
It's maddening that there is never any sense of urgency with this organization. Just keep trading for prospects and waiting until next year.

Our pitching was pretty good vs Astros, well except for Eli Morgan in game one. And no Josh Naylor in the last two games didn't help. The players were most likely bummed out about Antonetti throwing in the towel on this season.

I'm not a fan of the elf, not even the angry elf. It's too wimpy for a football team. But I'm not a fan of the dog either. The dogs/dawgs should have been put to sleep years ago. It was a fun thing in the 80s, but let's move on. The orange helmet is rather lame for a team named the Browns. I would prefer they keep it simple and go with the colored stripe. And just win, baby.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I didn't mean building it in the middle of nowhere (a la the Coliseum), but rather on the edge of downtown. That's why I think a site on the southern edge of downtown would be a good location. Let's face, that is not a very glamorous part of town and will never see any upscale development. Yet, it is close enough to the amenities you mention. And football fans are a bit different - many could care less about those amenities and are only interested in tailgating before and after the game.

But is it a good idea to put a large, infrequently used facility on an urban site?

I believe it was designed to accommodate a football field.

Seems like it would a tight fit on Wolstein site.

I still think the area south of Tower City would be the best location for a new stadium.

And how about CC Sabathia for “future superstar” prospect Matt LaPorta. How did that trade work out?

This is a real head scratcher. They traded their best healthy pitcher who they control through 2025 for a first baseman prospect who has injury issues. They didn't need a first baseman. What does this mean for Josh Naylor? Does he become DH? If so, what does this mean for Josh Bell? Does he sit on the bench next year at $16.5M? I assume Bieber will be traded this off season. I dunno. This just doesn't make sense.

Did the FBI ever announce where they are moving to? Or have they decided to stay there?
