Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
And wasn't there an issue with the parking garage?

Also need varying degrees of bombs - bunker buster, hand grenade, firecracker. A bad bomb would probably be a stink bomb. 😀

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
^^ I tend to agree. There is no need for such a wide land bridge at this time. Maybe just do a simple, less costly pedestrian bridge initially that can be widened at some point in the future once the lakefront is developed. I'm wondering how quickly the lakefront can be developed since it will be competing with Bedrock's riverfront project.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
If the new stadium is technically in Cleveland, I assume Cleveland would be able to collect income tax from the players, correct?

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
Not having a governor from the Cleveland area isn't helping.

Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
I believe the Continental-United merger was similar. Continental was the surviving corporation, but they moved to Chicago under United name and culture.

Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
The idea solution, as I mentioned previously, would be to change the name to US Steel, but keep the HQ in Cleveland.

Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
And Eaton HQ is technically in Dublin, so that is another F500 lost.
-
Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
Cleveland can't afford to lose another Fortune 500 HQ, especially losing it to Pittsburgh.

Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
Here's a better idea. Keep the HQ here and change the name to U S Steel.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
Sorry Progressive, but 3 signs is overkill.

It's the substructure that is of concern.

Cleveland State University Vikings Athletics Discussion
I wish the media would give them a little recognition. I know some of their games are broadcast on WTAM when there is no conflict with Cavs. Are any games televised?

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Several years ago, after Trolleyview USA closed, they were looking for a location downtown to display the trolley cars which were being temporarily stored in a warehouse. I thought the powerhouse would have been a good place, but we got an aquarium instead.

I believe the Rock Hall expansion will include a music venue.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I assume the design of the land bridge will depend on whether or not the stadium remains. I'm not sure the leg on the southeast end of the land bridge is really necessary.

I agree. It would certainly be more valuable than the bridge at the harbor.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Does it make sense to spend several millions of dollars to repair or rebuild the Main Ave bridge if the west shoreway is basically ending at W 3rd? It is likely fewer vehicles would be using it when that happens as it would basically be a bridge to nowhere. Maybe a better idea would be to just remove it once it is deemed unsafe for travel and have vehicles use the Detroit/Superior bridge. That would open a large chunk of land for development.

But for how long? The Main Ave bridge it getting to the end of it's lifespan.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
I assume they are removing the sign in the middle.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Right. Just about everyone is bringing a carry-on bag on board now to avoid the checked bag fee. I wish airlines would eliminate that fee, at least for the first bag. It would make enplanement/deplanement a lot easier and would reduce congestion in restrooms and departure waiting areas.

Cleveland Transit History
And the turnpike was supposed to be free after it was paid off.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
Getting back on topic, are there still any shops or restaurants at Galleria? I haven't been there in quite a while.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
IMO, it probably would have been better if the Rock Hall stayed at Tower City.
