  1. Guten Tag! Switzerland is a great country and definitely has its act together.
  2. NFL team rosters are much larger than the others sports and might be why no guaranteed contracts.
  3. Receivers that can't catch. A $230 million quarterback that doesn't like cold weather. No first round picks. A dysfunctional front office and coaching staff. Lackadaisical players. Good grief. And PLEASE scrap those all brown unis. It's not a good look.
  4. Turn out the lights. The party's over. Actually, the party never started. Oh well. Wait til next year.

Weather will be much better in a few days. Temps in 50s by next weekend.

Apparently the Cavs game is still on for tonight. Maybe things will settle down a bit by then.

Yeah, that happens. I remember several years ago, temps dropped from 70s to 20s within a few hours. So now they are giving names to winter storms. This one is called "Elliott".

MLB owners don't use any of their own money.

It is beyond ridiculous. Soon, player contracts will be exceeding a billion dollars. I don't understand why owners outside of the large markets continue to let this continue.
  10. I still remember seeing that play when I was downtown with a buddy doing some Christmas shopping. We were walking down Euclid Ave and stopped to watch on a TV in a storefront window (yeah, there were stores on Euclid then). That was the start of something big for the Steelers in the 70s.
  11. When will they need the second tower? I didn't think it was going to be anytime soon.
  12. I agree. The unsightly jail II will be less noticeable. Seeing these photos, I am now glad they moved the tower west of the Jacobs lot. I'm still not happy about "the shack", but maybe it will look OK once it is completed.
  13. Welp, another wasted season. And no first round draft pick. Way to go, Haslam.
  14. Most of my funds distribute dividends and capital gains this month. They are being reinvested and buying more shares at a cheaper price. So I don't mind a little downturn now.
  15. That spot has been like a missing front tooth. Glad to see it finally being filled.
  16. It would be nice if someday Superior can be closed and the square can be unified. The FTA can't hold the city hostage forever.
  17. I'm interested, but I don't think it should be getting TMUD. Can't they get the NFL to pony up some money to help build it?
  18. It will be nice to have a restaurant at the top again, assuming this project happens.
  19. I thought the TMUDs were for projects that were basically "shovel ready" and just needed to close the funding gap to get things started.
  20. Hall of Fame Village? Wtf?
  21. Getting back on topic, I don't like it either. It is too cluttered IMO. But we need not worry. Whatever is built there will likely look much different.
  22. Perhaps Weston could have teamed up with a Fortune 500 company in need of a new building, maybe a company like Sherwin Williams. Oh well.
  23. More recently, in 2015 I believe, Weston had a really cool plan for a large WD development. But unlike Stark, they owned a lot of the property. Sadly, that plan fizzled out.
  24. That is going to look fantastic when completed and lit up at night.
