  1. I also noticed that. Speaking of unfulfilled plans, what is happening with the old Coast Guard station?
  2. But if the exodus of downtown workers continues, will the "reverse commute" no longer be going against the traffic?
  3. This site has some old photos of CUT. Ramp photos are on page 11. https://www.historic-structures.com/oh/cleveland/union_terminal1.php

  5. Yeah, those two are potential candidates. Not sure what will fill all the other buildings. I doubt Cliffs will be doing anything in the foreseeable future. I suppose a hotel is possible, although I don't believe there currently is a need for more hotel rooms downtown. And I suppose more residential is possible, however there will be a lot of space opening up in Landmark after SHW moves out. A new casino would be nice. I really hate having a casino in the historic Higbee Building. A concert/event pavilion would also be nice - a nicer, classier version of Jacobs Pavilion. There are still several large parcels in the downtown core - surrounding the new SHW campus, 4th & Prospect (nuCLEus site), 9th & Bolivar. It sure would be nice to see those developed first before building towers on the perimeter of downtown.
  6. Hopefully not another plan with no funding. 😀 I think there are 3 already - Bedrock riverfront, Haslam lakefront and CSU master plan.
  7. Right. It would be nice to fill that gap.
  8. Some of their games also air on WTAM if no conflict with Cavs.
  9. Yes, they do, except I don't see anyone walking a dog.
  10. What's with all the boxy towers?
  11. Sky Fox video in this link: https://fox8.com/email-alerts/breaking-news-email-alerts/fire-breaks-out-at-in-kent-mill-district/
  12. Now they just need to get more fans to attend their games.

Crunch season starting this month. Apparently home games will be played at the IX Center. https://www.theclevelandcrunch.com/
  15. The Cavs G league team, The Charge, moved from Canton to Cleveland last year and playing their home games at Wolstein Center. Does anyone happen to know what size crowds they are drawing? I wonder if these additional events might result in reducing or eliminating Woltein's annual deficit?
  16. ^ I did a Google search and found this article from Crain's: https://www.crainscleveland.com/real-estate/artcraft-building-sold-group-led-crosscountry-mortgage-ceo-ron-leonhardt-jr
  17. Bedrock already showed their 30 year vision a while back Hopefully this will be different, with something happening in my lifetime.
  18. Here is report from WEWS. Sounds like it's not a done deal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWiYmk2dUeg
  19. I'm a little biased, but I would suggest renaming it Liberty Blvd rather than naming it for another local politician. The original Liberty Blvd was named to honor Cleveland area soldiers who had died during World War I.
  20. I have to assume that was considered, but rejected due to the cost.
  21. True, but if it keeps Orlando Bakery in Cleveland, It is a good thing. I hope you weren't expecting it to become another Chagrin Blvd in Beachwood with offices, hotels and restaurants.
  22. So this frees up 1801 Superior for Park Place. 😉
  23. They definitely need to scrap those all brown unis - not a good look. I'm OK with brown pants and white jersey. Some kind of logo on the helmet would be nice.
