Cleveland Browns Discussion
Depending on how well Watson performs, the Browns have a chance to win 4 of their remaining games. Houston, New Orleans and Pittsburgh are winnable. And perhaps they can win one vs Baltimore, Cincinnati or Washington. That would result in an 8-9 record, not good enough for the playoffs, but it would at least be respectable.

Browns need to find another kicker.

Is E&Y the only tenant in that building?

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
Building a new arena costing well over $100M plus another $10M+ to demolish Wolstein Center doesn't seem like the right solution to eliminating a $1M annual deficit.

Cleveland: Opportunity Corridor Boulevard
I assume the police HQ will not be built at OC location since there is plenty available spaces downtown. I wonder what might go in the OC location instead?

It would also be nice to know what the plans are for First Energy Stadium and Burke Airport.

They did some upgrades to modernize it a few years ago. Not sure how much more they can do. It is a 100 year old facility.

Cleveland SC Soccer Stadium
Agreed. Maybe just upgrade Krenzler Field, assuming they want to play downtown. Of course there are other options in the suburbs.

Cleveland SC Soccer Stadium
It looks like they would only be able to add seating on the east side. If they shift the field to the east, they could put some seats on the west side, but then they would lose the baseball field.

By the way, does Woodling Gym still exist?

This could go down as the worst trade in Cleveland sports history. Haslam may surpass Modell as the most hated owner. The NFL might have to implement a Haslam Rule similar to the NBA's Stepien Rule.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
Thanks to aggressive ballot harvesting. Most of those young people are still living with their parents or at college, have very little real world experience and are naive about business and the economy. They know that the Democratic Party is the party of loan forgiveness and other free handouts. They don't yet realize that free stuff is not really free. So of course they are going to favor Democrats.

And it was also planned when Kevin Mackey was transforming the men's basketball program into the big time and drawing large crowds. When still playing at Woodling Gym, some of their games were moved to Public Hall to accommodate the larger crowds.

Wouldn't it make more sense to push the country to hybrid vehicles as a first step? This conversation should probably be continued in Electric Cars thread.

Buffalo might want to reconsider that new open-air stadium.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
If CLE passenger numbers get back over 10M it will be in the large airport category, correct? Maybe it will fare a little better there. Has the FAA approved the master plan yet? It would be nice to get the ball rolling on the next step in the terminal renovation. And it looks like the Sheraton is still standing. That should be coming down soon.

Cleveland SC Soccer Stadium
Maybe a new football stadium would be better on that site, if it is large enough. Building a new stadium for a developmental league soccer team doesn't make sense. And especially with no chance of ever getting into MLS. Just upgrade Krenzler Field.
