^ What's the point of moving the stadium a short distance away? It's nice that it would connect to the convention center, but it would still be basically on the lakefront.

How about this idea which was actually proposed many years ago. Cut out a channel to straighten the Cuyahoga River, fill in the unused section of the river behind Tower City, then build the stadium on the filled-in section. Is it possible?

Yes, John D was instrumental in Cleveland becoming a boom town in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The city has done a rather poor job of honoring him IMO.

I agree, it does look a bit tacky. I would suggest changing it to gold lettering and a smaller, sans serif typeface.

Perhaps they need to add more events and attractions. I know the tall ships appear almost every year. Maybe they can get some others to appear during the summer, either navy or historical vessels. And how about moving the USS Cod to the harbor. It might attract more visitors there.

Has there been any progress recently with redevelopment of the Coast Guard station? Since it has been 6 years since the last post, I'm guessing the answer is no.

It is unfortunate that CLE is shoehorned into such a tight space surrounded by Ford, NASA, IX Center, 237, I-480 and Rocky River Reservation. I don't know where any new hotel(s) could be built nearby, maybe around the IX Center. or perhaps near Brookpark and Grayton where there are already a couple hotels (and one more coming in the old NASA L building).

Do they need to demolish everything or could they just demolish the one building closest to the innerbelt to ease the squeeze?

World class signage needs to be well illuminated.

The Browns have no logo (sorry, I don't consider logoless helmet as a logo). The Guardians are using the crooked C as their primary logo (ugh). Previously, the Indians were using block C as their logo (double ugh). The Cavs were the only major pro team in Cleveland with a decent logo.

I wish they would go back to something similar to what they had originally in the early 70s.
