  1. Will there be a "notch" on the other side also?
  2. Euclid Beach Arch to be restored and relocated. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2022/06/historic-euclid-beach-arch-to-be-restored-and-relocated-as-part-of-clevelands-2022-capital-plan.html
  3. I'm not sure who the bigger creep is - Watson or Haslam.
  4. So if he is suspended, do the Browns still have to pay him?

^ Oil/energy markets get spooked very easily and the admin's green energy policy did just that. So I think your estimate for the admin's blame might be a bit low.

Not just supply and demand, but speculation and other factors. Here is some more info: https://www.investopedia.com/articles/economics/08/determining-oil-prices.asp
  7. The name change hasn't changed their luck with the weather.
  8. Speaking of retail, wasn't Target looking to open a location downtown?
  9. So now we have a player getting injured running in from the bullpen. Good grief. "Shaw is day-to-day after Francona said he tweaked his calf while running in from the bullpen for his June 1 appearance against Kansas City. Shaw pitched through tie injury at the time, but Francona is trying to give him as much rest as he can."
  10. Is it the same Dave that operates Dave's Cosmic Subs?
  11. I know. A few years ago, I went down there on a beautiful Saturday afternoon during the summer and it was basically deserted.
  12. Voinovich Park is already there and a playground near the science center was recently opened.
  13. Recent comments in this thread are about the airport's impact on North Coast Harbor and lakefront development in general, not specifically about Burke.
  14. A shame we have to keep making concessions on developments for that good old airport.

It is not a non-issue. Biological males should not be competing with biological females.

No, they don't hate trans people, they just have common sense, something that is sorely lacking in this country now.
  17. Here is the latest on the Sheraton Hopkins acquisition. https://www.cleveland.com/business/2022/06/more-parking-coming-soon-to-cleveland-hopkins-as-city-acquires-and-plans-to-tear-down-sheraton-cleveland-airport-hotel.html

Why do the Cavaliers need to keep changing the uniforms, color scheme and logo every couple of years? Teams like the Knicks, Celtics, Lakers and others have remained basically the same over the years. And I hate seeing CAVS or C on the uni. The name should be spelled out.

I spent nearly $200 on gas last month. I did nothing out of the ordinary, just normal driving to/from work, shopping and errands. At least I am getting a 5% cashback bonus on gas purchases with my credit card.
  20. IMO the bridge was not needed and was a waste of money.
  21. I believe passenger traffic is nearly back to pre-pandemic level. It sure would be nice if they could get started on phase 1 sooner than their estimated start of 2026.
  22. Perhaps they should dust off that plan. I would prefer something less obtrusive that doesn't alter the appearance of the original structure and plaza.
  23. I know. But did the proposed expansion ever happen? I don't think so.
  24. Many years ago, there was a plan to expand the rock hall underground and link it to the science center. I assume it never happened. https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/story?id=110485&page=1
  25. ^ Agreed. It would be nice to develop those parcels before bulding anything on the lakefront (sorry, Haslam). I guess this means another crane downtown next year.
