  1. The reason I ask is if there were such a rendering, it might sway those who want Burke to remain an airport. As for the vastness of the space, a chunk of the Burke property will be needed to correctly fix Deadman's Curve, which hopefully will happen in my lifetime. In addition to Euclid Beach Park, NE Ohio also lost Geauga Lake and Sea World. A mini amusement park might be an idea to consider, maybe something similar to Belmont Park in San Diego.
  2. Plan for Sokolowski's site. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/oh-cuyahoga/breathing-new-life-into-the-old-sokolowskis-restaurant-site-in-cleveland
  3. I know there have been a few renderings of a redeveloped downtown lakefront over the years, but they have shown Burke remaining as an airport. Has anyone ever done a rendering showing the Burke property repurposed for recreational/entertainment attractions?
  4. I've never been a big fan of auto racing at Burke. Other cities have them on their downtown streets. Cleveland could do the same.

I watched until about midnight when clouds started moving in.
  6. It was something that was posted in Random Visualization thread a while back. Here it is:
  7. ^ Wasn't there a proposal recently to add more floors on top of the AT&T building?
  8. Yep. And now a multi-year feasibility study.
  9. I got a picture a few years ago. Maybe I'll try to do a video this time.
  10. Steam in the Valley returns this month. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/oh-cuyahoga/steam-in-the-valley-returns-to-cuyahoga-valley-scenic-railroad
  11. ^ Perhaps this is one of the reasons development happens at a snail's pace here.
  12. Apparently, the Cleveland office has not opened yet.
  13. Attaching a GPS device on the vehicle sounds interesting, but if the vehicle is stolen, police will likely find it abandoned and the culprits will be long gone.
  14. Here is some more info on the cruise ship. https://www.cleveland.com/travel/2022/05/cruising-returns-to-the-great-lakes-and-to-cleveland-which-has-a-new-customs-facility-for-passengers.html
  15. I know the Parma Police have a few drones already. I believe they are only used when pursing a criminal who is traveling on foot through backyards, wooded areas, etc.

  17. Rightr. Now if they were not next to each other, then it might be confusing.
  18. It is not OK to drive a vehicle wIthout a visible license plate. It turns out the vehicle had been stolen, which is likely why they fled. And why are 16 year-olds out at 1:00 am?
  19. Site of the old Cleveland Institute of Art building at East Blvd and Bellflower is a possibility.
  20. Bronze might look good, at least in this case. I think it would blend in better with the neighboring church building.
  21. Cleveland.com loves to stir the pot. And they loved using that photo of Tamir Rice.
  22. The home page is a cluttered mess with way too much stuff randomly placed there and unnecessary multiple photos of police cars and Annie Lane's face. It needs to be better organized and condensed. Jusr put headlines there, then let the viewer drill down for more detail on local, national, business, entertainment, etc.
  23. What happened to all the Tim Hortons that were supposed to open in NE Ohio?
  24. It still seems to look a bit cartoonish, but maybe it just due to the quality of the rendering.
  25. Is Spirit still planning to merge with Frontier?
