We won't mind the confusion.

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
I'm not sure the police can do much in these situations as they would just scatter like cockroaches once they arrive. I witnessed one of these events on Clifton Blvd in Lakewood a few years ago. It was dirt bikes, ATVs and such. It looked like a scene from a movie. As the former mayor used to say, it is what it is. Until the culture changes, nothing will change.

There was a connection from the convention center to Public Hall at one time, but apparently it was removed during the latest renovation.

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
^ Entertainment and recreational attractions, yes, but probably not residential as it Is unlikely multi-story buildings can be built there. Some suggestions include a marina, walking/biking trails, gardens (Donald Gray 2.0?), bocce ball, volleyball, ice rink, restaurants, beer gardens, a mini amusement park, maybe a nicer aquarium. Thete are lots of possibilities. If they ever get the funding to fix Dead Man's Curve (and fix it correctly) they will need to acquire a portion of Burke property to do so. And that might be easier to do if Burke is no longer an airport. Hopefully the city can start a dialogue with the FAA, if they have not already done so, about closing Burke eventually. Otherwise, if the FAA keeps pouring money in for airport upgrades, it will never happen.

Nice separation agreement. In fact, it's finger lickin' good. https://www.cleveland.com/business/2022/04/cleveland-state-will-pay-outgoing-president-harlan-sands-nearly-1-million-and-offers-him-348000-teaching-job.html

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Yes, Kennedy was a good director, but at 69 years old, I can understand his reason for stepping down. I hope they can get started on phase 1 a little sooner. Their plan was to wait until passenger numbers returned to pre-pandemic level (their guess was 2024, which was a bit pessimistic IMO) and start phase 1 in 2025.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Right. FEB is disjointed currently. It will be nice to see that resolved.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Interest rates, though rising, will still be very low. A recession however could slow things down.

Cleveland: North Coast Harbor Developments
Apparently it wasn't clunky enough. Developers of projects in Cleveland seem fond of industrial-looking designs since they perceive Cleveland as an industrial city. Remember the proposed AmeriTrust tower on the Jacobs lot with a top that looked like smokestacks? Good grief. I'm glad that was never built.

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
I thought the convention center was going to use it for meeting space? Is that not happening?

That looks great. I hate that ugly parking garage on the other side. Maybe it will go away eventually.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
I don't remember all the reasons this layout was selected, but I believe lower cost and walking distance to gates were a couple main factors. I'm not sure about concourse E. it seems like they would be better off without it and add more gates on concourse D. I thought one of the models had concourse D being L shaped instead of the hockey stick. But maybe that model didn't include concourse E.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
The Cavs never seemed to be the same after Rubio went down on Dec 28th. Hopefully, the younger players will spend the off-season on conditioning to build up their strength and endurance to make it through the six month regular season and potentially two month post-season.
