The Cavs never seemed to be the same after Rubio went down on Dec 28th. Hopefully, the younger players will spend the off-season on conditioning to build up their strength and endurance to make it through the six month regular season and potentially two month post-season.

Due to supply chain issues, this is actually February snow that is just now arriving.
  3. There is a good chance another team will lose their starting QB next season due to injury and will be desperate for an experienced QB, even an injury-prone headcase.
  4. Despite starting their first home stand in mid-April, the Guardians get snowed out. Unbelievable. https://www.wkyc.com/article/sports/mlb/cleveland-guardians/guardians-white-sox-game-postponed/95-6bc080c9-8ca6-4376-9414-134e2eb172e8
  5. I meant for roadways, parking, rental cars, shuttles and such.
  6. CLE needs all the space it can get for airport operations. An on-site hotel is not needed, especially one that is over 50 years old. The hotel was looking rather shabby the last time I was there 10 years ago. There are several other hotels in the vicinity and I'm sure they all offer shuttles to/from the airport.
  7. Not sure it was necessary to include a social lecture, but that seems to be common in a lot of Litt's articles.
  8. It's a shame they couldn't find a home somewhere in that area for the trolleys that were at Trolleyville USA in Olsmted Township. They were sitting in a warehouse downtown for several years waiting to be relocated. Unfortunately, all or most of them ended up elsewhere, I think around Chippewa Lake. Not sure if there is a possibility of getting any of them back now.

  10. An article on cleveland.com says the Plain Dealer building downtown is expected to sell next month. The article is a "subscriber exclusive" and I am not a subscriber.

I have some variety of pear tree on my tree lawn. It has nice white flowers in the spring, but they stink.
  12. Maybe getting it ready for the Flats West Bank development?
  13. With Terdolph Park in the middle.
  14. Gates signed a 6-year contract with CSU last year. But I guess that doesn't mean anything.
  15. Midtown's Pierre’s Ice Cream sold to Ohio-based dairy manufacturer. https://www.cleveland.com/business/2022/04/clevelands-pierres-ice-cream-sold-to-ohio-based-dairy-manufacturer.html
  16. How about using reverse jinx for the Cavs.
  17. The old Chung Wah. Loved that place.
  18. I took a ride on the OC for the first time today. It looks good. There sure is a lot of developable property on both sides. Hopefully it won't be just gas stations and dollar stores.
  19. Agreed. In Bedrocks's initial rendering for the area from last September, it looks like that site had two separate towers with an open space between them.
  20. It seems like it would be a better look if the new building was slightly lower than Landmark. That way, at least the upper portion of Landmark would still be visible from the south. And hopefully it will be designed to blend in with the surrounding buildings, not a glass box. I know property owners/developers can build whatever they want, but IMO the best look aesthetically for a city's downtown would be for the tallest buildings to be in the center with gradually shorter buildings extending out to the perimeter. And yes, let's get something built on that unfinished parcel of Landmark!

Cuyahoga County announces $950,000 in awards to plant 3,400 trees in urban areas. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2022/04/cuyahoga-county-authorizes-950000-to-plant-3400-trees-in-urban-areas.html
  22. Bigger than nuCLEus. Which version - 3.0?
  23. Let's hope they can stay healthy. Seems like that has been a problem with our pro sports teams recently.

  25. A shame that most of those Warehouse District buildings were replaced by parking lots.
