  1. Why are they upset? Isn't there already a correctional facility in that area next to the post office?
  2. The NFL might throw us a bone (no pun intended) and do ONE Super Bowl here, but that would be it. The NFL and the fans prefer warm weather cities for the Super Bowl.
  3. ^ I dunno. That would be an expensive project. It would make that large, hulking facility even larger. I assume it would need artificial grass.
  4. Hmm. Didn't they just close several locations here in the last few years?
  5. Well this is a bummer. I hope it doesn't impact the expansion plans. https://www.wkyc.com/article/news/local/cleveland/cleveland-airport-chief-robert-kennedy-resigns/95-37221e95-972e-47b2-8383-2062a57bdcd8
  6. Roll out the barrels. https://www.wkyc.com/article/traffic/ohio-department-of-transportation-announces-2022-construction-schedule/95-4d200acf-b69c-4a91-b2af-d120bfd9efc9
  7. I wonder what percentage of private aviation needs the longer runway that Burke offers? I'm guessing not much, probably just the occasional bigwig that wants to fly in on a larger aircraft.
  8. Maybe they will need to add a few more floors to their HQ tower. 😉 https://www.cleveland.com/business/2022/04/sherwin-williams-buys-european-coatings-business-adding-more-manufacturing-capability.html
  9. Because it is an under-utilized airport occupying a large piece of downtown lakefront property. Hopkins isn't exactly bursting at the seams. Nor is Canton-Akron. They can both handle more traffic as well as Lost Nation and Cuyahoga County for smaller aircraft.
  10. Has WTAM announced who will be replacing him?
  11. Here are some ideas: https://designyoutrust.com/2019/02/before-and-after-photos-show-the-power-of-art-to-transform-boring-buildings/
  12. I didn't know Chuck was an equestrian.
  13. I'd rather see the Stark property developed first. That parking crater is more of an eyesore than the Bedrock site.
  14. When will the new Fortune 500 list be released? I am curious to see where Cliffs will rank.
  15. I guess this means we will no longer see the reflection of Terminal Tower.
  16. A lot of square footage in Landmark. Probably more than 925 Euclid.
  17. And the discussion continues... https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2022/03/should-clevelands-burke-lakefront-airport-be-closed-local-leaders-are-starting-to-discuss-the-possibility.html

The young Cavs are still developing. Gotta be patient. It will be nice for them to get some playoff experience this season, but I don't see them going too far. All of these injuries are disturbing.

Why? Because the innerbelt is an interstate highway and needs to conform to interstate highway standards. It is unfortunate that several highway sections in Cleveland were never built. They would have provided a downtown bypass which most large cities have. As a result, i-90, I-71 and I-77 all converge on to the innerbelt, not an ideal situation.
  20. I suppose we need to keep Jim Brown's on-field and off-field actions separated. He did help the Browns win a championship. If Deshaun does the same, they will be erecting a statue of him.
  21. The NFL may have to implement a new rule about giving up first round picks in consecutive years. Hopefully the Browns will get at least one first round pick for Baker.
  22. Let's just live with it as is until it can be unified at some time in the future.
