  1. Well, now they have changed this article to a "subscriber exclusive". But it looks like it will open gradually starting at 7:00 pm tonight.

Another one bites the dust. It's been a bad year for drummers. https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2021/11/moody-blues-drummer-co-founder-graeme-edge-dies-at-80.html
  4. Looks good. Thanks, Taco.
  5. No, I was not inferring that they are causing the disturbances. Just that the quality of airline passengers, at least here in the US, has dropped a few notches over the years. I know there have always been self-entitled passengers, and that will never chamge.
  6. I remember when flying was a pleasant experience. Now, we have to fly with the WalMart crowd.
  7. Let's hope so. Two groundbreakings downtown in the same year would be nice.
  8. Well, this isn't good. https://fox8.com/sports/cleveland-browns-nick-chubb-demetric-felton-test-positive-for-covid-19-reports/
  9. Any estimate of what their HQ headcount is now?
  10. And we know who they beat in that World Series. Surprising that the Braves only won it all once in the 90s-00s - I think they won their division 14 years in a row.

It's nice to finally have some 'bigs" in the lineup. Who would have thought the Cavs would have a better record than the Browns at this point?
  12. Yeah, I guess I need to stop dwelling on those players or yesteryear who kept their egos in check. Players like Paul Warfield, Gary Collins, Reggie Rucker, Dave Logan etc. It's a different world now.
  13. ^ Agreed. Good riddance. Browns, please don't obtain any more divas.
  14. Looks like your link above got cut off. Here is the full link. https://www.envoyair.com/events/cleveland-hopkins-international-airport-ramp-and-customer-service-agents-hiring-event/

  18. Yes, it was amazing. A lot was happening in downtown Cleveland in the late 80s to mid 90s. Galleria and Tower City opened. Society/Key Tower was built (the tallest building between NY and Chicago at the time). Jacobs Field and Gund Arena were built (resulting in the Cavs, hockey and other arena events coming back downtown). Several new hotels opened. The Flats and Warehouse District were booming. The Playhouse Square theaters were coming back to life. The RTA Waterfront line opened. Cleveland was on a roll. And there could have been another tall tower built during that timeframe, but the Society-AmeriTrust merger killed it. Let's hope the Sherwin-Williams project will get things going again downtown.
  19. But it could have been worse if ALL of the proposed freeways in this area were built. At least this will open up a dead zone in Cleveland and should siphon some traffic off of the innerbelt and the shoreway.
  20. Click bait. Apparently, most of them have already been reassigned.
  21. Well, after further review, it looks like that won't be possible. https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2017/02/castle_noel_finds_treasure_tro.html
  22. Well, Acme did open a store in Parma several years ago. I believe they had plans to open another store in the Cleveland area, but it never happened.
  23. I liked the holiday decorations at Tower City. I hope they can pull them out of storage and put them up this year.
